Disappointing Experience at Raeeth Club
Rating: ★★☆☆☆
I recently visited Raeeth Club with two of my friends as stags, hoping for an enjoyable evening based on the reputation and allure of the place. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations. I feel compelled to share my honest review of the club, highlighting both the positive and negative aspects.
To begin with, I was disheartened by the judgmental attitude towards stags. The staff treated us differently, making us feel unwelcome from the moment we arrived. This initial impression set a negative tone for the rest of the evening.
Upon entering, we were informed of the steep entry fee of 3,000 rupees per person, which supposedly covered the full package. However, it quickly became evident that the club did not match the enticing visuals portrayed in the photos and videos we had seen prior to our visit. The ambiance was lacking and failed to create the vibrant atmosphere we had anticipated.
One of the major drawbacks we encountered was the lack of attentive service. There was no designated steward for each table, causing confusion and frustration as staff members hurriedly attended to various tasks. It would greatly benefit the club to establish an organized system that ensures efficient service and caters to the needs of its patrons.
Additionally, I was disappointed by the unwelcoming behavior of the manager and receptionist. Their lack of warmth and hospitality was evident throughout our interaction, further dampening the overall experience. A more courteous and accommodating approach from the staff could have made a significant difference in how we perceived the club.
Moreover, the pricing at Raeeth Club is exorbitant. Considering the lackluster service, and uninviting staff, the high prices felt unjustified. The club needs to reassess its pricing strategy to provide better value for money to its customers.
Lastly, when I expressed my dissatisfaction and desired to leave, the club denied a refund. While I understand their policy, the way they handled the situation was uncomfortable and left me with a negative impression. A more empathetic and customer-centric approach would have been appreciated in this regard.
In conclusion, my experience at Raeeth Club was far from satisfactory. The unwelcoming treatment of stags, unorganized service, uninviting staff, and inflated prices all contributed to my disappointment. I hope this review provides valuable feedback for the club to improve and deliver a more enjoyable experience to its customers...
Read moreI really don't know where to begin and how to describe the indescribable humiliation we felt at Raeth. Now they will get some paid reviews after every bad one to hide the truth, nevertheless I am going to share our experience. Hoping it helps some of you. :) You must think how much of an harrassment does to took for me to come here and rant such relentlessly on a Monday night. It was yesterday, me and my friends visited after calling them and confirming what the entry or cover charges were. The cover charges changed once we reached and nobody was sorry about that, they behaved as if we spoke to a ghost on the call. We entered anyways(biggest mistake of our lives). We were given a table next to the wood fired oven and in front of the Hookah making zone, our eyes were all watery but we had paid already so had to start ordering anyways. Zero or no management of the smoke coming from these two. The food, well well well! The veg platter was served as if it was served to a cow. When pointed, we were told that this is how the chef likes to plate, you know what chef, maybe try another profession, do not be serving food to humans like that. The Nachos were good, liked the sour and the guac but imagine the experience beyond nachos that giving them 1 star is my limit. The prices were skyrocketing like noones business. An LIIT for 1200 plus 22% VAT plus 10% service charge and GST on service charge, how do you explain that? Gassy Goddess - 1499 + 22% VAT + 10 % service charge + GST = Rs. 2019 for one cocktail that tastes like garbage. Okay, if the drink tastes good as the best godamn cocktail in Goa, I would maybe then pay this amount. But for a cocktail that we left after taking just one sip, legit! It was a rip off! Last but not the least, there is no last. It's Raeth which is destined to be Raeth very soon if you continue to be this way. Goa tourism gets affected because of worthless places like this. The faith in good businesses and humanity gets affected because of scams like this. People travel to feel good, yet end up having experiences like this that haunt them from going out. Shame! I would give them 3 stars if the staff was courteous and prompt or even caring, they were nothing but! It's sad, its just very very sad it happened but I hope my...
Read moreThe zomato/district tickets you buy will only ensure you get an entry. It isn't cover charge. Instead, it is a very cleverly written, ambiguous bunch of sentences which looks like you're getting cover charge but when you reach there, they ask for more. As far as I was told, it was ₹ 4000/5000 cover charge for a couple. It totally depends on what they want to charge that night. I've seen people paying more as well. This 2000 one on district (basically the link that they share on their instagram page) is just entry fee and if you say that it was cover charge written, they'll show you how they played with words there. They have written "cover charge starts at 2000 rs / couple". You just paid 2000, you hope this is the cover, but you just got played. I would rather come to raeeth and buy on spot and get covered right? Because anyway 2-4 drinks and 1 starter is going to cost me 4-5k. Extremely cheap tactics. Plus the DJ on most days is just techno-EDM-trance. The tempo is enough to keep you awake and maybe grooving but you won't be able to dance to it. The sound system again, is very weird. The bass doesn't hit you throughout the property. Just near the dj set. Where it is extremely loud and will puncture the ear drums but that's the only place where you'll find people actually dancing. Also, no tables are given in the basic cover charge packages. They Just have tables for bigger groups for which they charge 20-30-40-50k++++. And you can't even lean on a table when you are bored of the music. The alcohol they serve is really potent. Gets to high in no time. But the music will drive you down completely. The crowd it pulls is really great! Idk on what basis does it manage to do that exactly. But these 2 stars are for the drinks, crowd and well-maintained washrooms. Overall, a very blah...
