Well it's nothing but a chain of bad experiences back to back. My simple observations since last 3 visits. They don't know how to make simple veg sandwich anymore. It was nothing but negligible layer of butter on one slice and chutney on another slice and in between them there was yet another tasteless slice of bread along with vegetables which tasted like artificial veggies ๐คฃ I'm sure they were not artificial but they were actually tasteless. Also no veggies were fresh. Taste was absolutely zero since potato was occupying 50% and Beetroot was occupying 15-20% portion of the veggies. No taste in chutney. Now a days most worrying trend is to add chat masala on anything and everything so that people will get the taste of that only.
Also, in the name of AC hall they are simply cheating you. We were literally sweating in AV hall. There were three AC unit of max 2 tons and an opening on 10 feet by 8 feet with a big fat exhaust fan to throw the cooling out ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Those who have been there knows that there's nothing called service there. A place which once used to make and sale great sandwich is now surviving by selling legacy and nothing else! Not at all recommended anymore.
Also had their Dahipuri, again not great in taste and double the market price in the name of non...

ย ย ย Read moreBombay Sandwich in Alkapuri, Vadodara, is undoubtedly popular for its flavorful streetโstyle sandwichesโthink crisp bread filled with fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, spicy onions, potatoes, cheese, and zesty chutneysโbut the overall dining experience has room for improvement. Although the place draws a steady, enthusiastic crowd thanks to its walletโfriendly pricing (around โน250โโน300 for two) and generally good taste ๏ฟผ, service can be frustratingly slow, especially during peak hours, leaving patrons waiting longer than expected. Cleanliness is another concern: the seating area and tables arenโt always kept tidy, and sanitation standards feel a bit lax for a busy food joint. On the flip side, staff are courteous and efficient when not overwhelmed, and takeaway and packing are handled well, earning some praise (). If you can look past the slower service and occasional lack of hygiene, Bombay Sandwich remains a goโto spot for a quick, satisfying snack. However, bringing attention to cleanliness and improving speed during rush hours could elevate this beloved local gem to...
