Ahmedabad’s Tallest Rooftop is on the 13th Floor at University Road, has a stunning view of the city from the top. Overall, the food and service was quite efficient. North Indian was great and so were their drinks. It can be your next pick incase you are looking to host Parties for any occassions this Winter.
Drinks Shirley temple - A pineapple based icecream blended drink which is as sweet as it gets Floating heart - Combination of Strawberry & Orange this was a delightful Mocktail, my personal favourite. Turmeric latte - Hadi doodh as we all know it, ideal for the Winters of Ahmedabad keeps you warm and energetic. Tiramisu hot chocolate - Hot chocolate with a hint of Tiramisu this is another soothing pick for the chilly winters.
Soup Khaosuey - Burmese Soup dish that is aromatic, flavourful and has multiple ingredients like Roasted Garlic, Peanuts, Spring Onion, Fried Onion bits i.e topped over the Coconut based soup. A true delight for those who love a good tropical soup.
Starter Paneer tikka roll in cheese naan - Best starter ever, a combination of street side food flavours presented in a fancy manner. This dish consists of a soft cheese Naan that is prepared in the tandoor and the marinated soft paneer tikkas are wrapped inside it. Smoked paneer tikka - Tandoori starters are a mood booster in Winters and the smoked paneer tikka is one hell of a Starter served with a chutney and laccha onion on the side. Mexican bohmas - Stuffed cheesy balls topped with Olive and served with Mayo dip on the side.
Main Course Perri Perri fries pizza - Spicy fries added as toppings on a Thin Crust Pizza Exotic veg pizza - A loaded Pizza with tonnes of Veggies pick this if you like vegetables on your Pizza. Maggi Sandwich - This sounds weird but trust me it was delicious, buttered sandwich breads stuffed with cooked Maggi noodles inside. Indiana sizzler - Kulcha, Naan, Paneer ki Subji Masala Rice & French Fries. Once again another, perfect pick for Winters. Mix sauce Pasta - Fusilli, Penne in red and white sauce which is cooked to perfectiok and the sauce is absolutely delicious. Veg sheek kebab - Seekh Kebab in a masaledaar gravy a great option when you want to pick something other than paneer. Veg tarkari handi - Mix Vegetable Handi Subji perfect with Butter Roti or Naan the best North Indian Combination. Paneer lababdar - Everybody’s go to Paneer Gravy, best item on the Menu enjoyed with a Roti on the side. Dal makhani with Jeera Rice - The Makhni was creamy, tasted great when served piping hot with Jeera Rice. Veg dum biryani with raita - Flavourful Biryani served in a huge Matka serves 2-3 the Raita complimented the rice wonderfully. Assorted Breads - Chur chur naan, Olive naan, Hariyali naan and Laccha paratha perfect sides to the rich and mouth watering North Indian Gravies.
Desert Kala gora - Vanilla Ice cream with Kala Jamun the later was served hot as well as a bottom of it below the scoop of Icecream, what a combo! This was one hell of a Fusion Dessert, must try. Really, Superb place to visit once on Roof top Restaurant cum Cafe for night view. Location on top of building 13th floor looks fabulous and seating they made really cool. (It's roof top only so visit only at evening / night)
Service: Great Service and all items came on time without much waiting on pick time as well. I have visited one party setup is there and crowded but we don't feel it because seating area looks cool.
Food: I have visited with my 3 friends and all food Quality was extra ordinary and Quantity seems sufficient for 4 people.
Most Try Dishes: Smoky Paneer Starter Mexican Hot Pot (Really like it too much and never tasted like this in any other restaurant, Quantity very good) Lasagna (Good but not best compare to other dishes, Definitely its tasty and good too) Soup: Mexican Chilly Beans (Superb & Must try for Soup lovers), Brockly Almonds (Good One Mild and no spicy, Little bit salty & sweet)
Atmosphere: Situated on top floor of building on 13th floor from where you can see everything.
I would really love to visit again with family / friends and try other dishes too because all looks good, tasty and decorative.
Cost wise, Its little bit costly but if you go through Zomato, Swiggy Dineout then 15% discount on direct visit and pre booking flat 30% off.
I think its sub version of Ramada's Sphere Lounge but more items and new one from Ramada so visit this one first.
FYI: All items are available in 100% Jain as I am always looking for same.

Read moreWe recently visited 1989 by Sphere Lounge, a contemporary rooftop cafe known for its trendy ambiance and creative menu. During our visit, we tried a range of Jain dishes including the Jain Mexican Hotpot, Jain Smoked Paneer Tikka, White Sauce Pasta, and Jain Subz Dum Biryani.
The Jain Mexican Hotpot was served with a generous portion of rice and a mildly spiced bean and vegetable topping. While the presentation was appealing, the flavors were somewhat underwhelming—lacking the expected punch of Mexican seasoning.
The Jain Smoked Paneer Tikka was nicely grilled and had a subtle smoky aroma, though the marination could have been a bit deeper to enhance taste. Texture-wise, the paneer was soft and fresh.
The White Sauce Pasta was creamy and comforting, but leaned slightly on the bland side. It could have benefited from a bit more seasoning or herbs to balance the richness.
Lastly, the Jain Subz Dum Biryani was aromatic and served with raita. The vegetables were well-cooked, but the overall flavor profile felt a little flat for a biryani—it missed the depth of typical dum biryani spices, though understandable considering Jain constraints.
The service was polite, and the ambiance is definitely a highlight of the place—great for casual conversations or an evening out.
