However, Bhookh lagi hai goes above and beyond to create an extensive menu that caters to all tastes and preferences.

Read moreBHOOKH LAGI HAI?? The answer to this question will not be an issue after you visit this place. I have seen a lot of reviews in the past years regarding the popularity of this place among the paneer lovers especially in Ahmedabad. And being a paneer lover, it's very difficult to control the cravings developed after seeing repeated photos of it across social media.
#newbranchalert----- On my way to college everyday, I was noticing that they have opened a new branch on SG highway on the ground floor of Hotel Royal Plaza exactly opposite to Karnavati Club on the service road. Compared to their earlier shop in Navrangpura, it's quite a big promotion. The sitting space is good and comfortable for 40-50 people. Ambience is simple and sober.
#menu----- As it was my first visit to this place, I was confused what to order. After seeing the menu, the confusion even increased because they have also added many new items which are also not available in their Navrangpura branch according to the person there. I also requested to visit their kitchen because I was excited to see the tandoor and marinations which was the key to their delicious taste. The person agreed, kitchen was very clean and marination was also properly stored in fridge along with paneer and other items.
#orderandtaste----- Ordered:-
∆Paneer Tikka (MUST TRY) was phenomenal. Supremely delicious. Smoky taste in each and every bite. Marination was perfectly done. Spicy touch was there which was superb.
∆Malai Soya Chaap (MUST TRY) was more than phenomenal. The texture was little bit chewy, but enjoyed each and every bite because the taste was out of this world. Marination included Amul cream, lemon, secret spices and coriander to garnish. Super Taste. Best in Ahmedabad.
#conclusion----- If you're left to try this place like I was, please try. I guarantee that you will love it. I was the first customer today but if you visit at night, there can be a little rush. So, opinions could differ. Overall, best paneer tikka and Soya chaap available...
Read moreThe family was ready for a good plan so it had to be special. So we had to go for a tried and tested place. It had to be this place. We had to wait 25 mins as there is always a rush in this place. And I realise it's because of the taste that this place has such a rush. One may find this place a little conjusted or overcrowded or a little less spacious, but for food lovers it's heaven.
We ordered an Aloo pyaz chur chur naan platter, a Cheese kulcha platter and a Pyaaz chur chur naan Platter and a chhas. Aloo pyaz naan had two naans, a paneer lababdaar sabzi along with dal makhani and raita. The cheese kulcha platter had 2 cheese kulchas loaded with cheese and butter along with a chana masala sabzi and dal makhani and raita. And pyaaz naan had similar sabzis as aloo pyaz naan. And apart from all these platters there were onions and green chutney served which went really well with all of them. We also requested for extra lemon. Taste was purely a bliss. No wonder why there is such a rush. In the chaotic atmosphere too, the taste buds were dancing well. The only dish that could be a little better is chana masala that too could just be improved, other sabzis were perfect. They could give a little more quantity in sabzi is what I felt this time. The kulcha was so heavy... Loaded cheese inside out. And naan was garnished with sauted ghee kajus. I would suggest all of you to opt for naan as it was easy to handle and eat. Kulchas were good in taste but they were crunchy out and had been cold halfway down the road. Chhaas tasted the best although it was overpriced. I was so full. Whenever I visit this place I overeat.
Next time I would try other dishes and would let you...
