Burma Burma is a newly opened restaurant in Palladium Mall that offers a unique and authentic Burmese dining experience. The food is simply amazing, with a wide variety of vegetarian dishes to choose from.
The staff at Burma Burma are extremely polite and helpful. They are always happy to answer any questions you have about the menu or make recommendations. They are also very attentive and make sure that you have everything you need to enjoy your meal. Puia, Rajendra and Naresh were simply amazing.
I highly recommend Burma Burma to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Burmese meal. The food is amazing, the staff is polite and helpful, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I would go back there again.
We ordered around 12 different dishes for 8 people and we were not disappointed with even one of them.
Here are some of the dishes that I recommend trying:
Oh No Khow Suey: This is Burma Burma's signature dish and it is a must-try. It is a bowl of coconut milk noodles with a variety of toppings, including fried onions, fried garlic, peanuts.
Burmese Falafel: This is a popular street snack made of yellow lentils, onion, coriander and topped with aromatic garlic sauce.
Edamame & Broad Bean Hummus: This is a hearty and flavorful hummus made of broad bean and edamame topped with stuffed peppers and served with Burmese naan.
Wa-Potatoes: These are crispy potato cubes tossed in a spicy sauce. They are a great appetizer or side dish.
We tried 4 of their desserts and they were amazing.
No matter what you choose to order, you are sure to enjoy a delicious meal at...
Read moreWe visited Burma Burma at Palladium Mall to experience the authentic Burmese cuisine offered as part of their Thingyan (Burmese New Year) celebrations, and it was truly a delightful culinary journey.
From the moment we stepped in, the ambience transported us straight to Myanmar — with tasteful décor, soft lighting, and traditional accents that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was incredibly polite, attentive, and well-informed about the special festival menu. The Thingyan menu was thoughtfully curated, featuring a variety of traditional dishes that showcased the depth and diversity of Burmese flavors. Each dish was not only visually appealing but also beautifully balanced in taste — a fine mix of sweet, sour, spicy, and umami. Laphet Thoke , Mohinga, Shan Kauks and the Thingyan dessert platter, paratha and Manchurian balls, noodles and many other sauces. We appreciated how Burma Burma blends tradition with creativity, offering vegetarian Burmese dishes that are both authentic and innovative. The portion sizes were just right, and the presentation was elegant without being over-the-top.
Overall, this was a memorable experience, and we’d highly recommend visiting Burma Burma, especially during cultural festivals like Thingyan, when they bring out unique, festive menus that give a deeper insight into Burmese heritage. Whether you’re already a fan of Burmese food or trying it for the first time, this place is...
Read moreIt’s a nice fine-dine restaurant inside Palladium, Ahmedabad. The interior is interestingly appealing. We had a good feeling about the restaurant when we entered. They only take reservations for a couple of hours, apart from which it is more of a walk-in restaurant.
We had Scarlet Paloma Samuza Hincho, a Samosa Soup Kachin Dried Mustard Soup Burmese Pepper Soup Curried Mushroom Buns Burmese Falafel Kayo Oh, Shiitake & Pok Choy Burmese Ramen
While the majority of our disappointment came from our own choice of order, given we picked all soupy items, the taste didn’t settle with us either. The mocktails were decent, about average. The soups and the ramen bowl seemed to have been made with the same broth - there was a peculiar yet common taste to it. It did taste well, but wasn’t Ramen-y. The Bao Buns were a major mislay. It was sweet, served with a spiced chilly which didn’t appear to be spicy either.
From a foreign cuisine restaurant where one cannot understand 90% of the menu, we expect the servers to be more encouraging, helping us through the order - a quality which Burma Burma lividly lacked. The service, too, is slow and rather holding back. We weren’t served the compliments of Ramen until we finished the entire dinner. The bill, alone, took...
