Master of the art of losing customers and the best dish served here is -- humiliating loyal customers.
Picture this-- i (dr abhishek savalia, consultant urologist and owner of a hospital) , a regular la carte customer of tim tim brew house and tim tim, decide to have sunday brunch for the first time here. However the wife ( medical director at kd hospital) and kids r not a big fan of asian food so they decide to sit it out... they were going to eat at another restaurant later.
Wife took a piece of pizza from my plate and my kid decided to take one bite of the waffle as she is a fan of waffles.
all the time no one bothers to serve at our table or talk with us or ask how many sunday brunch should be noted.
Now as i asked for the bill , the manager swoops in... and says " sir as ma'am took a piece of pizza and the kid took a bite from ur waffle they will be charged one full sunday brunch price each.
i said this is my first brunch session and i never knew it was so strict .. am a regular customer here, A lesson learnt. it wont happen the next time , they will just sit in front of me next time and not even touch my plate or have a bite from the waffle i am eating. also if u saw that they r taking a bite from by plate should have clarified that they will be charged too at that time itself...
but no the manager thinks i am a beggar from the street who has come to steal from his restaurant.
he tells me i will show u the camera and ethically its not right and what not... in short a perfect afternoon of humiliation and a master class of how not to treat a regular customer,
i was charged 1700 rs for a piece of pizza my wife took from my plate and a bite of waffle my kid had.
1700 rs wont make tim tim owners a millionaire nor me a beggar but the argument and the humiliation ensures that they have lost a loyal customer forever and god knows how many la carte meals we would have had there in future.
no matter we have our dear Lolo Rosso waiting.
have fun humiliating and losing customers...
hoping to never set foot in any tim...
Read moreI recently visited Tbh Tim Tim Brew House, a café with a laid-back vibe and great ambiance, which immediately stood out as inviting. The service was efficient, and the staff were friendly, contributing to a pleasant experience. However, despite the café’s charm, the food and drink did not live up to the expectations set by the environment.
I ordered the Biscoff Cold Coffee, expecting a rich blend of the iconic Biscoff flavor combined with a smooth coffee kick. Unfortunately, the drink fell flat. There was barely any trace of the Biscoff taste, and the coffee itself lacked the flavor punch I was looking for. It felt like an overpriced, underwhelming attempt at what could have been a signature drink.
While the café itself was cozy and ideal for a relaxed hangout, the cold coffee, especially for the price, was disappointing. Given the high cost, I expected something far more indulgent and flavorful. For those seeking a vibe-focused café experience, Tbh Tim Tim Brew House might be worth a visit, but don’t get your hopes too high for their Biscoff...
Read moreWas on the lookout for a good cafe to try. Found the cafe version of SBR’s TimTim at Palladium.
First impressions while entering the cafe was top notch. Gave vibes of a tier 1 city cafe. The high ceilings were a welcome feature.
I ordered a cappuccino which was quite good and come with a complimentary cookie.
Wanted to try something to eat and Baos were always on my agenda but I had not much idea what it was. The manager was kind and professional enough to explain me what Baos are and the recommendation didn’t disappoint me.
The chewy bread and perfectly balanced cottage cheese when combined was a delectable experience for me.
Their menu is limited currently since they just opened and I intend to visit again.
Only disappointment- it’s a pure veg cafe. Considering Palladium is packed with non-veg eateries and the demand, TimTim could have brought in non veg dishes as well.
Overall I loved the quality experience which is not easy to find...
