I've visited this place, twice in the past week for a midnight supper.

This place has great ambiance and service. The staff is very warm and welcoming, and also entertain special requests.

During my first visit, I was attended by Mr.Siddhesh and Mr.Ashish Mankotia, I requested for an outdoor seating and we ordered a cold coffee made from an espresso shot on special request, and we ordered 'Rose tea' on our servers recommendation. It was great. Chef Jayant personally took our food order and recommended a chicken club sandwich, and we requested for a side of bacon. It was served with delicious and crispy fries and bacon, and the sandwich tasted great. However, while placing my order they had answered 'yes' to my query of the sandwich being grilled, but it was mildly toasted. I would have been highly impressed if they added a single toasted bread in the middle, and grilling the club sandwich, that would have made it 10/10.

During my second visit, I pre-ordered a cheesecake with a special message, Mr.Asim was on duty and he gladly accepted my request, and it was delivered perfectly well, however, the person who brought us the bottle of water ignored when I requested him to serve it to us.

Both my visits were post 1am and it took me a good 2-3 minutes to find someone to attend me, I had to search around the chai shop and Tinello the first time, and during the second visit I had to walk to the reception. I really understand that your staff works for long hours and work really hard.

In my suggestion, a call bell at the host desk would really resolve this issue.

Chai Shop as the name suggests, is a bakery and snack outlet of Hyatt regency. The place is designed to suit your light meal requirements. On the ambience front, the place is pretty well designed with bright interiors and lighting. The service is pretty prompt as well as courteous. Visited the place to check out the ongoing crepe festival. The festival menu was exhaustive with 11 varieties of Crepe's. We tried Ceprese, Ratatouille, Black forest and Apple cinnamon crepe. While the first two were savoury, the later ones were sweet in taste. All the crepese were egless and tasted really great. The sweetness was absolutely apt and made the favour pretty obvious. The apple cinnamon being the best of the lot. The cappaciano too was well made and went well with the crepe. All the Crepe's were pretty filling and surely made a decent meal. Would be keen to try out various other dishes...
