Dadi Dining Hall — Restaurant in Gujarat

The food was just okayish. Had a bad stomach the evening following the lunch I had there.

The service was pretty mixed - some waiters didn't care to come and serve and some were very warm and nice and made sure that you got what you wanted.

There was one waiter specifically who served me 2 rotis in the beginning even though I asked him to serve only one, he just wouldn't listen and was adamant. I mean, this is ridiculous.

There was a huge group at the same time that I went there for lunch so the waiters were mostly busy catering to the group and I had to wait to be served. There was one point when I had to ask tjem 4 times for the curry before they actually served it.

The unlimited thali costs INR 300 and it's definitely not worth.

I wouldn't want to go...

Don't get fooled by the average look of this place as you will end up having back to back surprises once your in! Food - Dadi's food speaks for itself! Their thali is extravagant with 2 sweets, 2 chutneys, 4 varieties of snacks, 4 varieties of subzi, dal, kadhi, roti, puri, papad and salad. What's more - it's unlimited and it's crazily delicious!! Staff- the staff is so warm and courteous. They love to serve you to beyond what you can eat. Service is super quick.. Multiple people from the server boy to the Manager to the owner himself attend to you personally till the time that you really get tired of eating. Price- unlimited for just and just 280 INR!! You got to visit to believe it! I had an awesome time at Dadi's! Worth every...

We went there on a Sunday evening for dinner. The visit was based on previous experience which was great. So talking about this experience Taste - Good Price - 350/- per person for a thali is okayish. I felt it could be 300-325 would be more reasonable. Food - comming to the food. Taste was good but not sure about hygiene. There was a "foreign particle" in the food which we were convinced was not edible. But the person there totally dismissed it. We then did not eat the khichdi. Although he asked to change the khichdi, but by then food was done. We paid the bill n came back.

A prime concern - being in food industry hygiene is of utmost importance, especially when you are such a old name...
