Second visit review: because of the first very good experience we went for the dinner second time. And this time also the food experience was topnotch.
What we had this time: In this hot summer coolers are necessary so we opt for aam Panna which is the best thing to have in this season. Aam Panna was one of the best were here. We also order mango lassi which is a must have here the sweetness and the texture was perfect.
In starter we had tandoori platter which consists of stuffed aloo and stuffed mushroom.stuffed aloo was neverfull and totally masaledar and I am not big fan of stuffed mushroom but my friend liked it very much.
We also had aloo tikki chaat. Any chat you ordered here there this is their speciality.from the quantity to the temperature that maintain all the thing and you should try aloo tikki chaat or samosa Chaat we opted for the aloo tikki chaat.
In the main course we had shaam savera kofta sabji even I did not like the kofta gravy of sham savera was really good.Second sabji v Oxford is shikari sabji and this is one of the best veg sabji available here.
if you are a cheese lover don't miss their signature from the north special naan. But my favourite was choor choor naan which was really going well with the sabzi.even the Dal makhani is a must have that texture the creaminess and the quantity was good enough.
Then we had cheesy veg biryani so again if you are a cheese fan you will love it I prefer veg biryani only rather than veg cheese biryani.
overall it was really nice experience from the ambience to service to food everything was really good and their pricing is also notworthy.
Choice group is very popular name and the City. They have come up with very good set up for the North Indian food. Recently got chance to visit this newly open place. From the outside to inside they have taken care of their interior. From their logo two tables and chairs everything was noteworthy.
What we had: Tomato Shorba:one of the most common things you can have is Tomato Shorba at every restaurant . But they have made something changed in the Tomato Shorba from the presentation to taste. It was big spicy but highly recommended you will not regret.
Dahi papdi chaat: it was absolutely fantastic and the Chutneys and papdi were fresh. Temperature of curd was really up to the mark. Only the price was slightly high which was bit let down
Cheese mirchi pyaaz papad: as the name suggest all the ingredients with small layer of butter ..it was good ,change of masala papad from routine
Kala khatta and Aam panna sikanji: this is like nostalgic thing and it was refreshing...kala khatta was bit more sweet and loved the aam panna.. They serve masala sing also
Tandoor platter: stuff aloo, mushrooms and cauliflower ... it was decent
Samosa chaat: again same like dahi papdi chaat and if u like samosa u better go with this
Tiranga subzi-superb three color gravy with stuffing cottage cheese..a must have
Rabdi jalebi-jalebi was crunchy and sweetness was just right....
Overall the food was the highlight ... presentation to ambience all was good and the open kitchen concept i like...
Read moreWe went here after seeing its ratings on Dineout. We booked a 9PM timeslot for birthday gathering of 15+ (excluding 6 children), but when we reached, we had to wait for 50 mins. We traveled from Vastral, almost 20kms from restaurant.
We gave the order while we were on waiting so that we don't have to face anymore delay. Thankfully just after giving the order, we got space to sit.
Dish Specific feedback# #1 Chilli Paneer - I had the worst chilli Paneer in my entire life. No one liked it, there was no consistency. #2 Hakka Noodles - They were also competing with chilli paneer in badness. We didn't have any choice as we were already too late (approx 10:25PM) #3 Fried Rice- Better as compared to both. White Sauce Pasta - It was good, infact was yummy 5 Stars for it. #4 Crispy Veg - Cornflour was too much, which was surpressing the original flavours.
After all, we asked chef to give something, which they are best at. Chef served some paneer (Chinese Flavour) it was finger licking. But it was hardly served to 4-5 of us. So other's just felt the taste by our expression.
We were hopeless after having above experience in starters.
Finally decided to order main course. #1 Dal Makhni 4/5 #2 Kadhai Paneer 2/5 #3 Paneer Lababdar 2/5 #4 Jeera Rice 4/5
As it was already too late, we finally ended up just filling our stomachs , with tasteless food that was hard on pocket. Restaurant serving staff was also very unprofessional, was spilling the dishes all over the table while serving, and were in some hurry or panick.
Overall, i will never think of revisiting there, and think 10 times before going if you...
