Thepla Junction is a small, but popular restaurant in Ahmedabad's C.G.Road. It is known for its fresh and delicious theplas, which are made with a variety of fillings. I recently visited Thepla Junction and ordered the Beetroot and Soyaben thepla.
The beetroot and soyaben thepla was absolutely delicious! The beetroot was cooked perfectly and added a nice sweetness to the thepla, while the soyaben was flavorful and filling. The thepla itself was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I also really enjoyed the chutneys that were served with the thepla. They were perfectly balanced and added a nice tangy flavor to the dish.
Overall, I had a great experience at Thepla Junction.
In addition to the delicious food, I was also impressed by the entrepreneurial spirit of the owners of Thepla Junction. They are Gujjus, and as such, they are always looking for new ways to do business and make new things. The beetroot and soyaben thepla is a great example of this. It is a unique and innovative dish that is sure to appeal to a wide range of people.

Read moreI usually don’t leave reviews, but felt it was necessary for this place because there are some serious issues that need to be addressed. While the food here is consistently good, the main problem I’ve had over multiple visits is the ambiance—specifically, the temperature. The restaurant is always uncomfortably hot, and when you ask about the AC, you’re told it doesn’t work. This has been an issue for the past 8–9 months, and even during the summer months, the AC is never turned on.
I tried to overlook this because I could find one spot under a fan that made it a bit more bearable, but the last time I visited, even that fan was broken. It was very disappointing. For a place that seems to position itself as a higher-end establishment, it’s hard to understand why something as basic as working air conditioning isn’t prioritized. It's frustrating because a comfortable dining experience is so important.
I really hope the management takes this feedback seriously. Good food can only go so far if the environment makes you want to leave as soon as you sit down. For the price and type of food, people expect a...
Read moreA minimalist restaurant serving varieties of Thepla (as the name goes). This is small restaurant in the bylanes of CG road. Parking will be challenging l, better to park on side.of main CG Road. Resturant menu has varieties of Thepla and try as much as you can...and go in group. Other than Thepla and Tea nothing much to offer. Limited seating and sometimes if they have packing order you need to wait and inside it may be bit suffocating due to kitchen smoke when working at full swing. Can be tried once and if you work in near by area then can be tried frequently as evening snack since it's healthy. It would have been better if they add more chutneys to their menu...
