= Located at Sabarmati riverfront, it is basically a bungalow converted into a cafe cum workspace.
= They have open as well as inside air-conditioned seating arrangement so that one can opt for as per one’s convenience.
= This roof-top cafe is located on 3rd floor where you can have an heavenly experience of cool breeze in the evening.
= Space is limited and hence sometimes you have to wait to get your turn to be served with food; however, during this time you can explore their eco-friendly store having a collection of many nature friendly products like wooden toothbrushes, diaries, trendy purses, beauty products and many more.
= Moreover, a thrift shop is also there having a good collection of clothes, books, home decor items and many more.
= You can also go for budget-friendly plants and pots from their small Nursery.
= The food was also delicious with an eye-pleasing presentation. We tried here Cheesy Nachos and Classic Cold Coffee. The quantity and quality were perfect according to the rate of the dish.

Read moreGreenstraw Café is a charming little spot that instantly makes you feel at ease the moment you walk in. It’s not a very large place, but that actually adds to its cozy and intimate vibe. The interiors are thoughtfully designed, warm, and welcoming, with a mix of modern café aesthetics and a homely touch. What makes it even more appealing is that you get to choose between indoor seating or their outdoor rooftop area. The rooftop, especially in the evenings, feels refreshing with soft lighting, a pleasant breeze, and a relaxed atmosphere that’s perfect for catching up with friends or even enjoying a quiet cup of coffee alone.
The menu here offers a nice variety of beverages and snacks. Their coffee is rich, aromatic, and brewed just right—something that coffee lovers will definitely appreciate. Apart from coffee, they also have shakes, teas, and some interesting light bites that complement the drinks well. The service is polite and attentive without being overbearing, which makes the whole experience more comfortable.
Overall, Greenstraw Café is a lovely place if you’re looking for a cozy hangout spot in the city. Whether you’re in the mood for a casual conversation, some alone time with a book, or just a pleasant rooftop evening, this café is...
Read moreSaw this place while driving nearby and Google reviews were good, so we decided to hit the place on 07 Jan 2023 evening. Its a café mainly targeting senior school and college going crowd. As its on a street parking can be an issue. Approach can be tricky as stairs are narrow and steep. Ambience is pleasant especially if you are sitting on the porch which commands view of Sabarmati Riverfront. At the time we visited place was manned by single staff Mr pintu who is polite but not exceptionally warm. Service is slow (Infact very slow, what makes us worse is lack of communication). We tried hummus platter (which contains three variety of hummus, pita bread and lavash), Alfredo pasta (white sauce penne pasta) and chilly paneer bread (open sandwich topped with paneer, chilly and sauce). Quantity of food is on a lower side as this place is supposed to be a café but taste of the dishes especially hummus platter and view of you are sitting on the porch makes up for other deficiencies. Additionally some card games are also available for customers which adds to the value of the place. Overall a good place and would like to visit again if they can improve the...
