Dinner? A la carte or buffet? A good place for buffet with reasonable charges & ltd. menu but great taste sounds good? Visit @moxaatmango that offers a buffet from soup to dessert with veg & non-veg options. Being a vegetarian, I had veg. food. Here we go:
The soup was Tomato Dhaniya Shorba. It was refreshing with a hint of coriander. As it was piping hot, I enjoyed every spoonful of it. 3.5 ๐
The fresh & crunchy green salad had yellow, green & red bell peppers, onions, broccoli & olives with salad dressing & feta cheese. The feta cheese was fresh & melted in the mouth. The red bell peppers were juicy & sweet. 4 ๐
The starters had kadak seekh kebab, multani paneer tikka & tandoori cheese broccoli, with green chutney. The kadak seekh kebab had cheese stuffing. As the name suggests, it was โkadakโ from outside & cheesy from within. The broccoli marinated with cheese & grilled a bit was okayish. The multani paneer tikka was well marinated, cooked in tandoor, & had a smoky flavor. The paneer was soft & had cheese & spinach stuffed inside it. I loved it. 4 ๐
Main course: trio kadai paneer & apricot kofta curry. The kadai paneer was okay, nothing extraordinary. The winner was apricot kofta curry with apricot or khubani at its base. The koftas were made of cheese & other ingredients. The curry had a smooth texture & was exceptional! The koftas were soft, melt in the mouth & I had these with garlic naan & lachcha paratha. The lachcha paratha was soft & well made. Each layer of the paratha could be separately seen. Thatโs a sign of authentic lachcha paratha. Only a skilled chef can make such parathas. Overall 4.5 ๐
The main course ended with owk ki kesar biryani, dal makhni & beet root raita. The beet root raita & biryani were okay. But the dal makhni tasted yummyliscious. The dal had creamy & smooth texture. Worth trying if youโre visiting this place! 3.5 ๐
The dessert had apple kheer. I loved it. But, the only problem was that it was of runny consistency. It should have had a thicker consistency. But, the taste was yummy with natural sweetness of grated apple mixed with caramelized milk. Amazing is the word I can describe...
ย ย ย Read moreI had booked mango hotels tansha residency Vadodara for 2 nights for my guests and parents. Out of 3 classic rooms booked, one was allotted in the evening and my guests had to wait for 4 hours. Then at 4'o clock in next morning tap in the washroom of one room got broke and it flooded the whole 6th floor and my all guest's rooms, which disturbed everyone's sleep so early. It drained water for 3-4 hours and no one in the staff knew how to close the main water supply. My guest's were shifted to other rooms of lower facilities compared to I paid for, saying its temporary. Then lift got broke and the other room provided for my guest had fault in electricity system. So they were shifted again to another room. So whole day my guests were forced to shift room. My parents above 55 age had to climb stairs to 5th floor everytime and caused them a lot of trouble and inconvenience. In addition to these those new rooms also had issues causing inconvenience like phone not working, water dripping from walls, taps leaking water, blankets smelling unusual and more. So till checkout my guest were not able to enjoy their stay, my parents were avoiding to go out with others so that they wouldn't need to climb the stairs to 5th floor and I felt guilty for those inconveniences caused to them by the hotel services because I was not able to fulfill their expectations. At the time of checkout, when asked for compensation they did not refund for the balance amount for the rooms my guests stayed and what I paid. They were willing to give only 10% discount on the restaurant amd service bills. I just paid the full amount. Overall, its not like that I paid for nothing. I actually paid for something and that something is "Inconvenience"...
ย ย ย Read moreI stayed at Pride Biznotel Hotel in Vadodara for 10 days, and it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel staff are extremely caring and helpful, which made my stay even better.
The complimentary breakfast was delicious. As someone from Tamil Nadu, I was especially happy with the Pongal โ it tasted amazing! The tomato chutney was also excellent. I also tried the night buffet a few times, and it was really good. My favorite was the Palak Paneer โ the chef does a fantastic job and the food is full of flavor.
The housekeeping staff are very honest and professional. I had left some money in my clothes by mistake while giving them for laundry, and they found it and returned it to me. I really appreciate their honesty and genuine nature.
Special thanks to Mr. Prinay (HOD) โ he was very kind and always ready to help. Mrs. Mousumi at the front desk was also very helpful and cleared all my doubts. The other two staff members at the front desk were also very caring and friendly.
Overall, I had a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone...
