Bar exchange or bidding bars are a relatively new concept coming up in and around Delhi NCR and we decided to check out the new kid on the block Agent Jack's bidding bar to understand the concept better and enjoy a few cocktails. The outlet opened up in January and has a live screen displaying the prices of the alcohol they serve and you need to download an application (available for android as well as Apple phones) where in you can bid for the lowest average price and an online software in their Mumbai outlet would either accept or deny the offer with an interesting(witty) message along with it.
Located in the Leisure Valley area of sector 29 Gurgaon this outlet is situated towards the very beginning of the day area most popular for its Breweries. Surrounded by all major restro-bars, It is right in the middle of the block that has Adams house on one side and the walking street on the other. The restaurant is above Divino cafe. Covering two floors they can easily accommodate 100 people on each floor.
We tried a few mocktails and cocktails besides their freshly brewed rice beer, which is their highest selling beer and none of the other restaurants in the region serves this variety(as claimed by their staff). We had plenty to eat but as we were late and their tandoor was shut for the day we couldn't try their Tandoori dishes and breads.
What we recommend in the drinks section is their jack and ginger cocktail which was a mix of Jack Daniel burboun whisky along with fresh finely chopped ginger, I recommend that they should chop the ginger very fine so it doesn't get stating the straw, otherwise full marks to This drink. Sweet heart is a drink that I loved, it's a vodka based drink with a orange twist, also referred to as the OBV drink as it is promoted by the Orange book value application. Even the Rice beer was light and enjoyable. The mocktail we recommend is the Kiwi Cucumber which was a very refreshing drink.
Food was great but only regret is that we couldwtry the Tandoori dishes as we went in late after their tandoor was closed for the day. What we recommend is the delectable beer batter fish fingers which were deep fried to perfection, very crisp on the outside and juicy soft from the inside. Onion Rings were very impressive super crunchy and just the way we love them. Thai tanic was chicken chunks on skewers with a peri peri marination were average and can be avoided.
For main course we had the superb Awadhi Murg Dum Biryani which came along with a coconut based salan and Raita. We also ordered a portion of Mutton Rogan Josh which was indeed a better version of the dish served in this area where most of the places serve a simple Mutton curry in the name of Rogan Josh. The Old School Walnuts Brownie Sunday is a must have dessert at the end of your meal.
Overall the food was good and so were the drinks. The ambience was great and there was there outdoor seating both on the first floor balcony and the second floor rooftop were brilliant but can and should only be accessed when the weather permits. The staff was very friendly and suggested most of what we ordered. The pricing was very reasonable compared to the other outlets in...
Read moreAgent jack’s bidding bar conceptualized in such a way that they charge alcohols and drinks as stock trading i.e They have the listing of drinks which keep on changing and This is one of the most happening places around sector 29. The location is fantastic if you are looking for best drinks and fusion food around you with full partying ambiance.
What I had on my table - DRINKS - The Freshly Brewed BEER and Sangria were absolutely fantastic and smooth to my taste buds. Cocktails are of top-notch quality and made with love and extreme perfection which leads to perfect taste.
Starters -
Peri Peri Mushroom was perfectly spiced and cooked in tandoor, Kadhai Paneer Tacos filled with lots of paneer and cheese but still had crispy taco which is commendable, Tarkari Seekh Kabab was good could have been better regarding spices and seasoning.
Last but not least :
Nizami subj biryani - Firstly it was served with innovation, I mean the biryani is served in a steel lunch box which is quite impressive to unbox. The spices and marination were perfectly blended with taste and burhani raita; cashew salan was complimenting it superbly.
Ended with a brownie with ice cream which could have been better but overall lovely service and behavior of staff. Highly recommended and appreciable.

Went there with my friend to try their Navratri special menu. The staff was very courteous and infact their chef also asks for customers reviews personally, which i really liked the most.
Now if i talk about the food it was just beyond what i am expecting The items are really innovative and creative as we've tried their: Kuttu ka pizza: pizza with kuttu base and perfect toppings of cucumber, capsicum and black olives. Sabudana tikki: tikkis are quite tasty and served with sabudana chips and curd. Arbi ki galauti kabab: basically made up of arbi/taro root was just mouth watering and innovative itself. Beet root chaat: beet root chaat with little salt and pomegranate. tandoori fruit chaat: fried fruits pieces. veg platter: Not in Navratri special menu but must try it also, luscious stuff. In drinks we've tried mango mint smoothy and strawberry cocoa smoothy.
Really enjoyed a lot there 👌😍 Must give a try to...
