Barbeque Nation — Restaurant in Gurugram District

Pathetic food - requested chicken tikka thrice firstly, it was bland, second time it was uncooked and raw and third time it was burnt. There was meat balls in Live items which I understand are frozen one and they serve after re-heating it. We were served ice cold meat balls. even pathetic service - They have some 15 starters and live items on menu. we were not served with that (except 3) even after so many requests and reminders. Coming to main course, We requested for 1 bread and waited for literally 35 mins and then had to come without even having the main course. Not only this, we kept on asking for water but were not served for good 25 mins. extremely untidy restaurant, poor and unhygienic utensils - we have been given the table after waiting for 15 mins. The table was not clean and I had to keep on again standing beside it for another 15 mins to get it cleaned. No one was ready to clean it. Even after one was assigned, he left in between, second also and then third also. Then we were given used crockery. There was broken glass, used tissue papers and food droppings all around the table. The temperature was not maintained and too hot inside the restaurant. After escalating it to the manager there, we were told that’s why we asked you to wait but you had kids with you hence we had given you unprepared table. Mind you, we were two adults, one preschooler and one infant visited there with reservation. And they were not able to give us a proper table even past that time and after making us wait for 30 mins. On top of it, the table given had 8-10 preheated grills having burning charcoals all around my table. Barbecue Nation was always our first choice and go to restaurant until we visited this...

This place is a must visit if you miss unhappiness in your life. If you're too comfortable visiting a restaurant and miss the hustle and bustle of fighting for getting food in an overcrowded wedding and eating stuff that tastes worse than your lockdown cooked food. So let's start with the good things about this place:

I was desperately trying to get atleast one thing worth recommending about this place. But to my dismay, I could find none.

Now, we head to the cons. Although they were so many that this could turn into a college essay, I will try to limit myself to cater to the average attention span:

1. Waiters here reminded me of God. No matter how much you request or scream, apparently, your requests just fall on deaf ears as you have to wait an eternity for getting anything from cutlery to onions.

2. It's disrespectful for food to refer the stuff served here with the same name. Recall the worst Panipuri you ever had, now multiply that with 100x and you will still be far away from imagining the disgusting taste of the goo served here referred to as Panipuri. Same goes for everything vegetarian. Paneer is cold and watery. Vegetables are undercooked and at the end of it, you wonder whether it takes a special kind of training to cook something this bad.

3. If you are fed up of your life, you can visit this place to waste time. You will find yourself waiting for 5-10 mins just to get a bowl. And once you have it, they will take away the dal makhni to refill ( In most places the refill is done instantly) only to find yourself standing and waiting in a queue, like in an ill managed and overcrowded wedding, for them to bring it back.

The place is a must visit if you want to experience plate full of variety in a definately low budget. U can have as much as u want in about 1000 per head whether veg or non veg. U can enjoy a good varitey barbeque of fish prawn chicken tikka chicken kabab and so on in starters along with my most favourite starter of all mouth watering panipuri😊😊. And the main course is self service where you can treat yourself with variety of veg and non veg dishes of mutton chicken panir dal makhani rice biriyani and so on. In desert you can have ice cream pastry halwa(I just loved it). And if you want u can definately order the drink of your choice paying a bit extra... if a wonderful place to enjoy with your friends and family if you are a foodie and want to explore varieties. The waiters are also extremely welcoming and they wont dissapoint you. KAMRAN served us and im so pleased with his service.. I would definately love to visit this place again.
