My Visit to Café G at Crowne Plaza, Gurugram – A Buffet Experience Worth Relishing
Tucked away inside the elegant Crowne Plaza, Gurugram, Café G had long been on my radar for its reputation as one of the city's finest all-day dining spots. I finally got the chance to visit recently—and I'm so glad I did. If you're someone who appreciates a good buffet, beautifully curated food themes, and a welcoming atmosphere, this place is bound to impress.
As soon as I stepped in, I was greeted with a chic and contemporary vibe—the kind of ambience that instantly puts you at ease while still feeling special. The layout was spacious yet cozy, and the warm hospitality set the tone for the evening.
But let's talk about the real star of the show: the buffet. Café G has truly mastered the art of catering to diverse palates. From comforting Indian classics to global flavours, every dish on the spread reflected both quality and creativity. I loved how seamlessly the menu moved across continents—one plate you're relishing spicy chaat, the next you're tucking into a creamy pasta or a sushi roll with zing.
One of the most exciting things about Café G is their Theme Nights, held daily from 7 PM to 11 PM. Each day celebrates a different cuisine, and it's the perfect excuse to keep coming back for more: • Monday – Shaam-e-Awadh: Dive into the royal legacy of Awadhi cuisine. • Tuesday – The Street Affair: A tribute to India's sizzling street food flavours. • Wednesday – Royal Punjab Affair: Bold, spicy, and unapologetically rich. • Thursday – La Dolce Vita Night: An Italian escape with pasta, pizza, and more. • Friday – Oriental Night: A delicious dive into Asian culinary delights.
I visited midweek, so I had the pleasure of exploring the Royal Punjab Affair. The spread was brimming with comforting, hearty dishes—from butter chicken and dal makhani to smoky kebabs straight from the grill. Every bite packed a punch of flavour, and the live counters added to the excitement.
What stood out beyond the food was the vibrant energy of the place and the impeccable service. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, making sure our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.
So if you're looking for a buffet experience that goes beyond the ordinary, Café G at Crowne Plaza Gurugram is definitely worth a visit. Whether you're a fan of Indian street food, Asian delights, or royal cuisines, their daily theme nights ensure there’s something new to explore every day of the week.
Looking forward to trying their Italian or Oriental Night next time—who's...

Read moreYesterday night had buffet dinner at the restaurant Cafe-G Some outstation guests were invited. The beginning was pretty disappointing, since table was in corner, we requested one the managers at billing counter to serve few snacks at the table, on which he rudely refused. Never expected this kind of behavior as we never had such experience in any of the restaurants we have visited so far. Steward Mr. Mahesh and Manager Mr. Nitesh Sharma came for rescue and told us that all shall be well taken care. They both did it, fresh and hot snacks were served to us and all our needs were promptly handled. Service part was well taken care but certain things were missing in display. Salads were empty and no one was bothered to replenish. Things had spilled on floor and no cleaning. Teriyaki were slightly dry and most disappointing was the veg one were they served all cut salad of majorly cabbage. Majority of persons missing behind the counters except the Tandoor guy, his breads were yummy. Do not miss his special Garlic Nan. Food was fine but display needs more professionalism. Desserts were ok since pastries were dry and Gulab Jamun too sweet. Orange souffle was delicious. Our overall experience was nice, actually expecting it...
