Dosa Plaza — Restaurant in Gurugram District

I had visited this place for the first time last year. We were very pleased with the staffs attitude, food and service. Basis this experience we decided to visit it again this year with some more guests only to experience exactly the opposite of what we had experienced last time.

Issues:

Had booked a reservation for 10 for 8.30 pm but they had not arranged the tables. We had to wait for 15 mins. Not a big problem. Food served on time but when we asked for refill of chutney and sambar they were reluctant and were ignoring us. Even after escalating it multiple time to the manager, not much listening. We also felt their staff was quite incompetent this time. When after we were half way done, we started getting sambar and chutney of even a worse taste than what we had got initially. Completely tasteless and yuck 🤮.

Finally not complainta but 2 more expectations:

Last time we had visited on a marriage anniversary in our family and had also got a complimentary 4 feet dosa from them. We were only 6 ppl that time. This time we were 10 adults but did not get any complimentary .

When I called them to reserve the table I asked if they will offer any discount. The guy told me that sir, generally there is no discount but you come, I will see what I can do. However when he brought the bill there was no discount. I was little embarrassed to check with him why is he not applying any discount.

The place is really nice. Food was delicious. They have all varieties of dosas, uttapam, idli, chutneys etc. Food quality was really good. Above all, the service was really fast. Actually there is self service as you only have to pick your food from the counter, but they took very little time in preparing the order. We were to watch movie after dinner and told them while placing order to keep it quick, and they did it. Within half an hour we had placed the order, had dinner and left the place. We had multiple orders and everything was ready just in time. Their masala dosa was awesomely crisp, veg uttapam was delicious, idli was fuller. Chutneys and sambar was also fresh and good.

So really big...

I visited the outlet today 10 April evening 8pm, i ordered peri peri dosa and mysore masala dosa.... Peri peri they says is their specialisation.... Cost os arroung 320.

Now what i received... Peri peri dosa was burnt, no taste of peri peri sauce... From inside it was just a simple Paneer dosa....

Maysore masala was not have the taste of mysore chutney...

I complaint them for mysore dosa... They cancelled it... For peri peri dosa i just shown them and mentioned that will not come here again...

If they are saying they have a special dish then it should have special interms of presentation and taste...

Worst food, worst service and poorest response for customer...
