Went to Nando's on my birthday with great expectations. Ordered an item which was a single serving because me and my girlfriend wanted to try it out so we can order more accordingly. The waitress made it her job to ridicule us for ordering a smaller plate constantly reemphasizing how it's appropriate only for a single person and rolling her eyes every time she did. Ofcourse by the third time the appetite and mood had died. The food didn't do much to ignite it either. Perhaps the taste is more suited for the more posher/pretentious members of the society, for all the regular people out there you'd find more flavour at a McDonalds or better yet your local street food market. Taste is subjective I won't object to anyone disagreeing with my stance but i do hope Nando's reserves their 'heat' for their chicken not for their snide insults and expressions. It'd be a shame it's hype of 'since it's from the west it's better' die down because their service and food will not be able to back it up at all. Hoping your day out goes better...
Read moreDuring our stay in Delhi in June 2024, we couldn’t resist visiting the Nando’s outlet at Ambience Mall, Gurgaon. As loyal fans of Nando’s peri-peri chicken, we had been missing its flavors ever since the chain ceased operations in Bangladesh a few years ago. This visit felt like a reunion with a long-lost favorite.
The peri-peri chicken was as incredible as we remembered—perfectly spiced, tender, and bursting with flavor. We also tried the chicken liver and two different drinks, and every item exceeded our expectations. The consistency in taste and quality truly lives up to Nando’s reputation.
The location adds to the experience; situated on the third floor of the bustling Ambience Mall, it’s a vibrant and inviting space. Whether you’re a peri-peri aficionado like us or just looking to indulge in flavorful grilled chicken, this Nando’s outlet is a must-visit. We’re already hoping for a revival of the brand in Bangladesh, but until then, this visit has rekindled our love...
Read moreThis was the first time I was dining in Nandos in Delhi NCR. Talking about the ambience which was pretty good with adequate space and sitting arrangement. The staff behaviour was also courteous. Debmallya was not just serving food but had complete knowledge about what is being served as if he knew what I wanted. So, I was also impressed with their customer service. The food also looks really good and tastes good too. One of my favourite from their menu was a veg wrap and the citrus bliss as I really loved its consistency in taste else I have seen that the drinks mostly tend to gets dilute as you get to the bottom of the glass. It was really surprising for me to see all these options in vegetarian section as this restaurant is quite famous for its non-vegetarian menu. Unfortunately I did not get to try any dessert as they had limited menu due to COVID yet it was good enough to have a meal planned out with family and friends. Looking forward to try my luck with their...
