The ambience is nice and the place looks classy as well.
We tried their palak patta chaat, dal makhani naan Gulab jamun, kulfi and and some mocktails.
The interior of the place is nice but when we sat there, we felt hot.. ac wasn’t properly working I guess, (in winters this should not be the problem now.)
Their Dal makhani tasted nice and butter naan was also good. Gulab jamun was good in taste too. Palak Patta chaat tasted okay.
Their Kulfi was just okay-ish. And when they are serving serving cold and hard kulfi, they should serve it in pieces or they should serve it with the stick itself because it was really difficult to break that kulfi with tiny dessert spoon.
The Mocktails were not at all worth the price. Would not recommend to anyone.
I ordered a Pine apple Mocktail, which they said is available at the moment. It tasted simply the juice from tetra pack, and they did not even bother to decorate it. Considering the price, it is a big no.
Rest all things were fine, like the service, behaviour of...
Read moreCall in the FireBrigade…. Hold on … but first the good stuff. …. The Missi roti was nice size and perfectly balanced with taste of Besan and onions and perhaps some hing. The Bhalla chaat was very tasty and hit the spot. The veg kebbab platter was very well presented with a selection of kalmi kebabs, paneer tikka, stuffed potato and Dahi Kebbabs. The Dahi kebabs were really delicious with a light crisp coating. Paneer tikka was good. Now call in the Fire Brigade… Daal Makhni … so high in chillies pure fire. The Kalmi Kebbabs … very hot chillies… these two items ruined the otherwise perfect meal. I would suggest the Chef to make dishes that are on the mild side with Add on of chillies per guest request. The service was fast and professional. Wish they served masala chai. The ambience of the restaurant is so so. Nothing special or interesting. Oh yes our primary objective was to have their famous Golgappas but nope they did not have them. Too bad. I don’t think I will be giving spot a...
Read moreThis restaurant used to be my go to place for punjabi food but lately their standard has dropped drastically. We ordered navartan korma which took more than half an hour to come and had salt missing in it. Initially the chef denied it but we made him taste it after which he accepted his issue and provided another dish however still did not apologise for his mistake. Furthermore, the staff behaviour was cold and not concerned about our issues. We wasted a lot of time at lunch because the service was extremely slow. When we asked the manager to waive off the service charges she was extremely rude and denied the same because we were paying via Zomato. Have not come across such a rude behaviour from staff in restaurants in a really long time. They are just cashing in on their name which used to be good once upon a time but now have completely lost...
