The Beer Café — Restaurant in Gurugram District

Beer cafe is on the fourth floor of ambiance mall entry from gate no 4. This was my first visit to this outlet though it is very near to my office.

Ambiance: The place is big and seating is comfortable, we got the table with loungers right at the entry. The place has bar seating as well, also being in the mall they have a smoking room in the restaurant which is quite convenient for people who smoke.

Service: The place was crowded and I felt they were understaffed. We had to find a waiter and request him to stop and take our order on which he would say wait and go and call the waiter who would take care of our table. Though the service was not bad the staff was polite and friendly and the order was brought to our table in no time.

Drinks: We had beer as the name suggests. We had bira white from the tap and Budweiser pint. The same was served chilled so no complaints from my side.

Food: We orders the wings platter which had 12 pcs of chicken wings in three different sauces. The wings were nice and tasty. We also had a 12” chicken supreme pizza which was decent not great but was ok. Masala peanuts which were decent as well. The only suggestion is if someone is ordering almost beer it is considered a normal thing to serve a small portion of peanuts with it, on me asking they said we would charge for masala peanuts and give you plain if you want which as per me is not good hospitality.

Cost: our bill for 5 mugs (500ml each) of beer and three pints with pizza and wings was around 6500 INR, I felt it was a bit on higher side. Also earlier they use to have an app on which you could scan the bill and get points the same has changed and when I asked the waiter on how we can add points he was a bit clueless on the same.

It was the only Cafe - Restaurant which was opened even after 11 PM and we were there till 1:30 AM.

It is located on the 4th floor of Ambience Mall.

We had a Wheat Beer Tower, which I tried a bit and it was good.

I am a pure vegetarian so will give its reviews but will add non veg items too without reviews.

We had tried so many veg food items from their menu-

Chilli Corn - Best crispy corn I ever had Honey Chilli Fries - Normal chilli potatoes Chilli Paneer - Amazing taste Hara Bhara Kebab - It was okayish Classic Margherita Pizza Peppy Paneer Tikka Pizza Arrabiatta Pasta Spring Roll Dal Makhani with Laccha Paratha - It is enough for 2 people but parathas are so so.

Quantity might be less but everything was really tasty.
