Raifu has been our goto Japanese restaurant from past few times. It is located inside the Dia Premier hotel and is frequented by many Japanese folks. The restaurant is on the first floor to take the stairs on your right once you enter the hotel. They have floor seating as as well as table seating. I prefer floor seating more . The menu is elaborate and is available in both Japanese and English. The staff is super friendly so if you need any help, they are always there to help . We normally order some items on the stick like chicken thighs, chicken balls etc . Our kids love these. Another item which we always order is the sushi platter. It comes with 30 pieces of assorted Sushis. Buta yawaranki which is stewed pork belly is absolutely must have . This place emulates the ambience and hospitality of a typical Japanese restaurant. My review is restricted to vegetarian food and I was not disappointed on this front at all. The serving portions are bite sized and one needs to order up quite a few items of you have a good appetite. But then again, that's how the concept of serving Japanese food works (or so I'm told). Recently, I visited this place on a friend’s recommendation. Despite arriving during off-hours, the staff was accommodating and served us without any issues. The food was incredibly filling and flavorful. Easily the most authentic Japanese cuisine I’ve tried so far. We ordered the curry rice with chicken katsu on the side and the ebi tempura udon, accompanied by a blue lagoon and a kiwi mocktail. Every dish was well-prepared, and the flavors truly stood out.
