Sákle's The Mountain Cafe, nestled amidst the verdant slopes, promises a retreat from the mundane, and largely delivers on that promise. My recent visit offered a glimpse into a space where rustic charm meets modern comfort, though not without a few minor stumbles.

Ambiance and Location:

The cafe's location is undeniably its strongest asset. Perched on an elevation, it offers panoramic views that are simply breathtaking. The vast expanse of rolling hills, shrouded in mist during my visit, created an ethereal atmosphere. The cafe's design, with its exposed brickwork, wooden accents, and large glass windows, seamlessly blends with the natural surroundings. The interior is warm and inviting, fostering a sense of cozy seclusion. The outdoor seating area, particularly during clear weather, is a must-experience, offering an immersive encounter with nature. However, during peak hours, the limited seating can become a point of contention.

Food and Drink:

The menu at Sákle’s The Mountain Cafe leans towards comfort food with a touch of local influence. The coffee, sourced from regional plantations, was robust and aromatic, a perfect companion to the cool mountain air. The breakfast options, including the signature mountain omelette and pancakes, were hearty and satisfying. The omelette, loaded with fresh vegetables and local cheese, was a standout. The lunch menu features a selection of sandwiches, pastas, and local delicacies. The pasta, while well-prepared, lacked the distinctive flavor profile I was anticipating. The local dishes, however, were a delightful exploration of regional cuisine, showcasing the freshness of the ingredients. The desserts, particularly the apple pie and chocolate cake, were indulgent and well-executed. On the downside, some dishes were inconsistent in quality, and the service, while generally friendly, could be slow during busy periods.

Service and Staff:

The staff at Sákle’s The Mountain Cafe are generally warm and hospitable. They are knowledgeable about the menu and eager to offer recommendations. However, the service can be inconsistent. During my visit, there were noticeable delays in order delivery, and some staff members seemed overwhelmed during the lunch rush. While the overall attitude was positive, improved efficiency and better coordination would significantly enhance the dining experience.

Value for Money:

The pricing at Sákle’s The Mountain Cafe is slightly on the higher side, reflecting the cafe’s premium location and ambiance. While the quality of the ingredients and the overall experience justify the cost to some extent, some dishes felt overpriced for their portion sizes. The coffee, however, offered good value for its quality and the generous serving.

Overall Impression:

Sákle’s The Mountain Cafe is a commendable establishment that offers a unique dining experience. The stunning location, cozy ambiance, and generally good food make it a worthwhile destination for those seeking a tranquil retreat. However, improvements in service efficiency and consistency in food quality are needed to elevate the experience to its full potential. The cafe's strengths lie in its ability to create a serene and picturesque environment, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely meal or a relaxing coffee break. If you're looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature, Sákle’s The Mountain Cafe is definitely worth a visit, with the understanding that occasional delays and minor...

I recently visited Sakley's The Mountain Café, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The food was below average at best. Despite the café's cozy atmosphere, the meal didn’t live up to the expectations. What made the experience worse was the waiter, who came across as overly pushy and quite rude. He seemed more interested in forcefully giving his opinions on what we should order, rather than listening to our preferences. The owner also wasn’t any better, displaying rude and unwelcoming behavior. It’s a shame, as the overall vibe of the place could have been great, but the poor service and lackluster food make it hard to recommend. Definitely not a place I’ll be returning to. Visited this place on 2 separate occasions 17th June 2024 23rd September 2024 - I already had a bad experience but one of my friends insisted on giving it another try since they had never been to this place. Even they didn’t visit this...

I've lost count of the times I have been there yet I feel like going back again and again, that's the taste and quality of food served there. During my last visit post lockdown I could see that they are giving due emphasis to sanitization and social distancing measures, all necessary measures were in place and was extremely happy to see their efforts. I have tried almost everything in their menu and all dishes are prepared with extreme skill and perfection. Food tastes amazing and service is quick and highly courteous, the service staff has a smile always. The menu has a variety of items to offer and can cater to all age groups. The place is small and cosy and gives a warm vibe with tasteful music playing in the background, which will not blow up your eardrums and you can easily hear and speak to your companions. I will highly recommended this place for atleast one visit and I am sure you would want to go back again....

Only Located at a pretty random corner of the street... Trust me, you wouldn't even notice it while walking across the crowded city streets of Delhi, all during the daily hustle of this concrete metropolis... As you walk in, you're greeted by this really well designed interior, wooden ceiling, classic looking place and I must say it's really cozy... The food, right from the line sodas, chicken grilled sandwich .. oh, not to forget the fries!!! I'm a fan of freshly cut potato chips....this place has really impressed me😊 pepperoni pizza and an oh so lovely chocolate brownie, melt in your mouth chocolate brownie 😎 Only thing with which I was taken aback was the pricing, can be a tad bit expensive if you're on a budget. Overall, loved the flavor of the whatever we had (pictures attached 😊) and the amazing aroma of the sizzler that the guests on the table beside us were having. Sizzlers!!!! Next on my mind ☺️

Get the feels of a Himalayan Cafe at Sakley’s The Mountain Cafe. Poised inside a spacious stone-wall edifice featuring tree-trunk furniture resembling a hill cottage, the Gurgaon branch, though slightly confined, invokes the same nostalgia for mountains. With signature tunes from popular 60’s music playing in the backdrop, walls suspended with movie posters, furnished with unfinished wood the cramped space of the cafe doesn’t elude the magic – in fact it augments it. The desserts are the most desired on the menu – melting chocolate eclairs, apple crumble, and hot molten truffle are all alluring and scrumptious treats. What to have: Wolf Mountain Juicy Chicken Sizzler, Grilled Marinated Chicken Perfect for: Desserts, Hangout
