The Pit Gurgaon — Restaurant in Gurugram District

I had eaten here as part of a group of foodies, and my review is based on the food & cocktails served to us, and shared by our group.

It was a meaty affair, the kind a Meat lover looks forward to. It was one dish after another, and each dish was excellent. I would personally say that the Red Meat dishes were the best ones and for me the top one was the Lamb Chops, followed by the Pork Belly, and the Meat Loaf.

The cocktails were excellent, I tried three of them - loved the Jamuntini & the Double Dark Cafe.

The service was exceptional. All the servers were on their toes getting one dish after other, so were the cocktails.

The ambience & vibes of the place is very welcoming.

Grilled Salmon & Grilled Chicken is a must try. Loved the tangy grilled pineapple. Overall the place was not bad. If you are looking for a healthy food outside then this place with somehow fulfill your health option. Sesame Salad with orange was great and went well as a great starter. Only feedback would be the restaurant should put picture of their food on the menu which will be a great way to choose. Lastly with ample seating option the place somehow looks little dull with the light above hopefully they can do something better with the lights above. Will surely visit again. Great place with a fairly decent service. Love the ambience and the menu. It’s got a lot of variety. Unfortunately, I am taking away a star as the chef could not give us the right cook on the steak. Despite requesting well done, it still came back with a little of pink. Also the lemonades were bitter. However, we ordered the sesame salad which was great, the chilly dog gets a hard 5/5. It’s a must try and so does the za’atar chicken. It’s brilliant and so tender. But the slow roast chicken was a disappointment 3/5 :( the pieces were not marinated well leaving the inside dry and hard to eat. It was well compensated by the pulled pork 5/5.
