This elegant space, conceptualized by Amit Khatri, is a celebration of Mediterranean-European cuisine, proving that vegetarian dining can be both luxurious and exciting. I'd call it refreshingly vegetarian!
Unico isn't just a restaurant—it's an immersive experience. Inspired by Moorish architecture and adorned with lush greenery, every corner exudes warmth and sophistication. It beautifully blends timeless charm with modern elegance, making dining here feel like a journey through flavors, textures, and artistry.

I had the pleasure of experiencing a thoughtfully curated meal that showcased the very essence of Unico’s philosophy. Here’s what I tried:

Roasted Leek and Garlic Broth – A heartwarming start with fava beans and rosemary sourdough toast.
Salads
I couldn't pick just one, so I went for three!
Quinoa and Cranberry Salad – A refreshing mix of lime and mint dressing, kale, and pine nuts.
Warm Gratinated Portobello on Sourdough – A beautifully balanced plate with baby spinach, radicchio, granny smith apples, cloves, and onion dressing.
Smoked Beet and Citrus Salad – A delightful burst of flavors with cinnamon sherry vinaigrette, seasonal greens, and chevre.
Small Plates
Three Bean and Gruyere Crepe – Served with ginger tea crème fraîche and homemade chips, this dish was a delightful blend of textures and flavors.
Pide (Turkish Flatbread)
Traditional Turkish Pide – Topped with sumac onions, homemade Za'atar oil, kalamata olives, and fresh mozzarella—an explosion of Mediterranean flavors!
Tostas (Spanish Toasts)
Sourdough Bread with Avocado and Sundried Tomatoes – A simple yet flavorful bite.
Sundried Tomatoes Candies with Edamame – A creative take that was both visually appealing and delicious.
Large Plates
Unico Textures of Cauliflower – A true standout! Featuring cauliflower in multiple forms—cauli and pecorino puree, cilantro croquette, harissa-spiced cauli crumb, za’atar and jalapeño steak, and ginger sesame cauli rice—this dish redefined the possibilities of a single ingredient.
Green Peas Risotto – A creamy, comforting dish that was both light and packed with flavor.
Porcini Mushroom – With its meaty, intense taste and rich, woodsy undertones, this dish was a delight for mushroom lovers like me.
Final Thoughts

The decor - top notch, the food absolutely flawless, the service - spotless. This place has all the ingredients that make it a winner. The place has a beautifully curated Mediterranean all vegetarian Menu and some fabulous cocktails. Every bite of food I had felt like a standing ovation on my tongue. Flawless flavour, As though the Chef whispered Mozarts symphony into every dish - A five star symphony of taste plated to.perfection. it wasn't just food, it was edible art with a side of heaven. The place is so welcoming, As you enter you see how they grow their own hydroponics. They have an open kitchen and seating space at two levels. They make everything inhouse even their flour is ground on site in their own flourmill. No wonder that the fresh produce and ingredients make the food oh so divine. I started with a Mango Picante A gin based cocktail made with the Japanese Roku Gin and it was the perfect start to the meal. I followed the cocktail with a Turkish pide so soft and fluffy it melted my soul. The Rockstar for me were the Burrata and Mango Canapés and ofcourse the Smoked beet and chevre salad. The Canapés were mind blowing with the sweetness of the mangoes being balanced by the kick of the jalapeño garnish on top - truly spectacular. The salad was subtle yet robust in flavour, it just tingled my tastebuds and I could just eat this every day. Then came the smoked wild asparagus with a Cashew foam - this is what food art looks like, I cant begin to explain how the different elements really work well and make it such a complete and satisfying dish. And should.I say that the salted caramel.cjeese cake served with a roasted Almind home made ice cream is a wow end to the already spectacular meal.
