GOOD FOOD, POOR ATTITUDES We visited this outlet of Haldiram’s for the first time yesterday. We were looking for the large size laddus that are made on order for weddings etc. We were referred to their staff manning the Sweets Counter, who seemed most reluctant to answer our queries. We requested to see the special boxes that these laddus are packed in and the gentleman seemed least interested in showing them to us. His immediate response was that the boxes are stored on the 4th floor and it would take some time to bring it down. As it was lunch time anyway, I insisted that he arrange to show us the box, since we were planning to have lunch there while waiting. It was with a lot of reluctance that he agreed to have the box sample brought down. They have a self-service concept and after paying, one is required to drop the KOT at the service counter. The lady at the counter informed us that out token number was 131 and we should wait for it to be called. However, they do not have any token display or paging system in place. As and when the ordered item is ready, they yell out the name of the dish instead of the token number. When they called out our ordered dishes, I pointed out to the lady behind the counter that if they were using token numbers the least that they could do was to have a paging display board in place rather than calling out the name of the dish, which could have been ordered by anyone present. The lady insisted that she had called our token number only and not the dish name. Rather than get into an argument with her about this we preferred to eat instead. Undoubtedly, the food is good and they get full marks for that. The tandoori platter was excellent and highly recommended. While we were eating they finally managed to bring the sample box for our inspection. Overall, an okay experience with the food. I can’t say the same about staff...

Went there to have breakfast couple of times.. it has a nice seating & nice ambience.. newly opened outlet. We ordered for chhole bathure but these were not tasty. Chholas were too dry. Bathuras were greasy & the oil tasted used. Vada pav is nice. Pav bhaji was too oily. Rice chhole bowl was not tasty. Its a small bowl and rice are at the bottom and you cant even mix well. The rajma rice bowl was still better. A platter of lachha, paneer, daal, onion was good. Paneer had too much oil nd butter. Its not healthy. Raj kachori was fresh & tasty. Tried their paneer sandwich but that wasn’t good. Ok ok. Paneer filling was very less and not tasty. Bharwan golagappe were damn sweet and hence ddnt taste good. It causes a sugar rush. Had it changed. We got a few things home delivered for guests. Idli sambhar was nice though sambhar was very less. Idli was quite soft. They never give enough sambhar. Dhokla was quite fresh and good. They never give mint chutney with it. You always have to call at Haldiram and request but this time on calling the guy was rude and disconnected the phone and switched it off later. Dal kachodi was over salty. Vada pav was nice. Tried paneer paranthas were good. Had sandwiches these were nice. Tea was average. Morning breakfast before 11am is at a reduced price.

Nice vada pav. Paneer pakora is small in size. Expensive. Onion kachodi was good Tea wasn’t good. And they took 45 minutes to make 2 cups. crowded inside and...

Haldiram, Sector 11: A Convenient Spot with Room for Improvement

⭐⭐⭐⭐

Haldiram in Sector 11 offers a convenient location with ample parking space. The ambiance is pleasant, creating a welcoming atmosphere for diners. However, there are areas where improvement is needed.

🚗 Location and Parking: The restaurant's location is ideal, making it accessible for visitors. The parking lot is spacious, ensuring hassle-free parking.

👨‍🍳 Service: While the service is decent, there's room for enhancement. Staff responsiveness could be quicker, and billing processes sometimes take longer than expected.

🌟 Ambiance: Haldiram's ambiance is a highlight. Clean and well-maintained, it provides a comfortable setting for families and friends to enjoy their meals.

🍽️ Food Quality: Overall, the food quality is good. However, the bhature (a type of Indian bread) could be improved. They tend to be overly crispy, resembling papads rather than the soft, fluffy bhature one expects. The pav bhaji's bhaji (vegetable curry) is also slightly overcooked.

In summary, Haldiram in Sector 11 is a decent choice, especially if you're looking for a convenient location and a pleasant ambiance. With some tweaks to service efficiency and food preparation, it could easily become an outstanding...

One of the Worst and Third Class hygenie and service standards. What we experienced in this branch at dwarka. 1. One of the manager putting Mopping bucket in kitchen sink to full water to clean space outside restaurant or kitchen. 🤢 2. A cleaner was cleaning TV and mounting frame right over the serving counters, using "kitchen" cloth. The dirt n muck that was falling directly over the food counter looked like was due to cleaning after months. 🤢 3. Gutter or sewerage smell come through the glass door which is used by Delivery guys while you wait for tea at bevrage counter. The guy says it's Normal. 🤢 4. The staff making tea did NOT wash the tea pan as it had tea and milk all over the side walls. On asking why, he replied we wash it after making tea 2-3 times. 🤮 5. Three staff members making Vada Pao including 1 manager were touching everything with bare hands. When other Manger asked why u r not wearing gloves One of them replied, Khatam ho gaye?🤮 Breads, ketchup packets, sweets, boxes nothing is finished but gloves who needs gloves, Right? These days we see even road side food sellers wearing gloves while preparing and serving food where they have Ti use hands. So HALDIRAM is a 3rd class restaurant chain.
