It’s difficult to stand out in Indian cuisine. We are spoiled for choices when we want to order our comfort Indian food. And then comes Bisaat, an Indian restaurant in Sector 5, Panchkula that stands out with its excellence in taste and presentation of our favorite dishes.
It’s a fine dining experience, with a touch of royalty. You’ll find the walls adorned with princes and kings from a begone era. Bisaat wants us to appreciate our Indian history, not just with the food, which I’m told is inspired from old kingdoms all across india but also with how the food is presented. You’ll find a rustic and luxurious feel to your meal at Bisaat.
Now on to the FOOD - I highly recommend you try their Tamatar Lehsuni Shorba. The perfect tanginess of this soup is the best way to start your meal this winter season. For APPETIZERS you can try their Chandan Murg Tikka and Patiala Shahi bhatti ka paneer. The food tastes fresh, the flavors leave you wanting for more.
For MAIN COURSE, I have to give special praise to their Laal Maas. Probably the best I’ve had in any restaurant, anywhere. It’s cooked to perfection, the mutton was tender and the curry is where the magic happens. It was my favorite dish of the evening. I also enjoy a good biriyani, and Bisaat does not disappoint with its Kacche Gosht ki Biriyani. Everything from the caramelized onions to the tender mutton pieces, it will make for a sumptuous meal.
In DESSERTS you can order their Zafran Jamun with your eyes closed. This gulab Jamun is the size of your fist and you will be surprised how quickly it vanishes from your plate.
Bisaat is now right on top of my list of favorite go-to restaurants for Indian food and I highly recommend you give it a chance next time you plan to...
Read moreAmbience: 8/10 : the interiors are really good for pictures. The songs they played were decent and low volume..really matching the vibe of the place and good for family(especially if you are bringing in elder people who don't like music noise)
Quantity: satisfactory for 4 people if you order 3 snacks and 3 main courses like below mentioned.
Presentation: Good (7/10) i appreciate the silver foil on the main course dish i order which was 'murgh safed korma' i really lifted the dish's look and also looked interesting in pictures. Also appreciate the thinly sliced almonds on the same dish. It really added a texture to the dish and the pictures i took also.

I really really LOVED the Tar Gosht because the mutton was cooked so perfectly. It was really soft. The gravy was full of flavour. Really yummy....it was made as per the description provided in the food menu. And that is why I gave this dish 10/10. The murgh tikka makhani was good. The murgh safed korma was a white sauce dish which I know is supposed to be sweet... But I found this dish a little more sweet than usual but i loved the dense sauce except the unusually high sweetness in it.
Bread were also very tasty and i had order butter naan and Missi roti.
Overall my experience was good. This place is really good for family gatherings too. You can also find online discounts for this...
Read moreWhen I think about the best place to have a royal meal, Bisaat strikes my mind immediately. This place has been appreciated by one and all for its terrific food and super amazing ambiance.
Starting with my food experience, it was terrific. I started off with their Tamatar Lehsuni shorba. Needless to say, it was a fantastic blend of flavours. The tanginess of the soup worked very nicely overall.
For appetizers, I gave a shot to their Chandan murgh tikka, Patiala shahi Bhatti ka paneer and Shikampur ki shaami.
To begin with, their chicken was lip smacking. The meat was super soft and charred to perfection. It was served with a very tasty coriander chutney which provided optimum taste to the dish. Next up, the Patiala shahi Bhatti ka paneer had a very nice, robust aroma to it. I could feel the spicy kick to the dish thanks to the generous usage of chillies. Highly recommended.
Their Shikampur ki shaami was decent. The patty was really soft in texture and had a good consistency. I did feel that a slight improvement could be done on the part of seasonings though.
For mains, I had tried their Dal roshanara, Laal maas, Kache gosht ki Biryani and assorted breads. My personal pick had to be their Laal maas which was prepared in a rich, red gravy with boneless chunks of the meat used. It was a delightful dish. Accompanied with Pudine ka parantha, this is something worth trying.
To end up things on a sweet note, I tried their Zafran Jamun. It was a giant, syrupy Gulab Jamun which had a very nice and aromatic taste of saffron. It acted as a palate cleanser.
All in all, I must say that I was highly impressed with their hospitality. Looking forward to visit this place yet again....
