Chugli — Restaurant in Haryana

Located in the heart of Panchkula, Chugli Café has been on my list of places to visit for quite some time. I had a fabulous evening over there thanks to some excellent food and top-notch service. It’s a rooftop setup with a very vibrant sitting space.

As soon as I entered, I was welcomed by their professional staff. The menu is really well elaborated, with a wide range of Indian, Pan Asian, and Continental food options, as well as a huge list of drinks.

I had ordered a portion each of Manchow soup, corn salt and pepper, orange chicken, veggie dim sum, and grilled stuffed cottage cheese.

Starting with the soup, it was hearty and super tasty. The broth was quite rich, with a nice spicy aftertaste to it after every sip. Next up, the corn appetiser was also a great decision. Unlike most places, their dish did feel like having corn with a beautiful sprinkle of three-pepper spice mix. I actually loved it to the core.

One of the standout dishes of the evening was their orange chicken. I was quite hesitant to order this one. The sweetness of the orange was well balanced with the citrusy aftertaste of the juicy, crispy chicken drizzled with sesame seeds. This is certainly recommended from my end. Definitely a complete dish.

Next up, the dim sums were also pretty different. A good proportion of exotic vegetables were stuffed and steamed to perfection. I must say that it was a wise decision to opt for this dish. Lastly, their grilled, stuffed cottage cheese was another great appetizer. I had never imagined cottage cheese to be served in such a classy manner with cherry tomatoes and herbs. Totally bursting with flavor.

Proceeding with our dinner, the order consisted of Classic Dal Makhani, Chicken Tikka Butter Masala, Pudina Lacha Parantha, and Tandoori Roti. Surprisingly, the taste of Dal and chicken was as authentic as I could find in any top-rated establishment.The main event was delicious.I did expect some sort of goodness with their food, but this experience was beyond my expectations.

It is definitely a big plus for any property when dishes from all the cuisines offered are well prepared. At the same time, I would like to capture the fact that the service was superb. Special thanks to Mr. Robin, Mr. Anil, and Mr. Vikram for ensuring that I had a memorable evening with my family.

I'll definitely be back for their drinks and other dishes the next time....

Worst experience: - We booked a 20 persons table for lunch. Everything was good at start and then actual service standard shown when they started taking 30 -35 minutes even for single snacks serving.Their bad coordination of taking order and serving food was clearly visible and the situation became worst when they served a Non veg dish to our table. The order of this dish was taken by one of their senior service person and even while delivery we confirm the dish and service person clearly mentioned that it's Asorted vegetable with Hot Garlic sauce but in the first bite we taken we realize that there is something not good with this dish. We call their senior person (Anil) to confirm that why this dish's taste is different and he confirm himself that it's a non veg dish. Because of our disappointment they started to cover up their mistake by swiftly taking back the dish to kitchen. But they even don't care and not try to clear the thing what happened. Considering not to destroy the party of all guest I went to their reception and try to talk their manager Mr. Chatergy separately. He pretended like nothing had happened and then he admitted that their team served a non veg food to us even when we strictly mentioned for no non veg food on our table as we all are pure vegetarians. After a few minutes, Mr chatergy offered me to sit in their cafe area and said he will be back in a few minutes after having a word with his team. I almost waited there for half hour but nobody even cared to discuss the matter . I request to their cafe service person to please call Mr chatergy back. When he came back and we started talking about the feedback , he again said he have to go and will come back in few minutes. But as expected the same thing happened again . He didn't come back in next half hour . After requesting he came and said he have lot of another tasks to do which are important than this issue to discuss. I left that place with dissatisfaction and worst experience. I will never recommend any body to visit this place again. Don't waste your money, time, emotions and efforts to...

This place is undoubtedly one of the most happening place in panchkula.  Located on the top floor of hotel ELM , chugli cafe has an amazing vibe . Looking for a place to party with friends- chigli cafe . Looking for an evening with friends & drinks - chugli cafe . Wana enjoy tricity weather - chugli cafe. Place for good music , ambiance, delicious food- chugli cafe.

Here in the review would like to mention an amazing food festival that we experienced at chugli - wok & wow ; this was hands down 1 of the best pan-asian food festival we enjoyed.  The eye for detail can be seen in every aspect.  Top quality ingredients from fresh produce , to meat selection, top quality of sauces & also the style of presentation 👌.
