Visit here, if you want to see good views with a sip of tea. Don't want to recommend this place for Pizza. This place is overhyped and running only because of it's name. The service is too bad, service persons keep high attitude as compared to the altitude of this place. They don't talk in a good way. During our visit the balcony was full with customers so the inner room was, so we choose the roof top. For the first 15 minutes no one was there to take the order. Then one of us gave the order by visiting to the counter. And the staff was like- "Sir upar Kyun baithe ho? Niche aa jaayo.. ab upr order Lene Kon aayega" It took them 50 minutes to bake a single pizza. We were about to leave the place because of slow service. When we came down, the staff was saying- Sir your Pizza is ready. Surprisingly there was a guy who was handling the counter was like there is no fault in slow service. He was saying- Sir bheed dekho kitni hai... Thoda late to chalta hai yaar... So here is a suggestion that If you can't fulfill the order due to large number of people then ask people to wait! That guy was saying- Pizza pack kr do.. ye le jaayenge and he was very rude. Then we got another guy with beard. He was gentle and asked us to stay at the place.

I visited there with my friends for the first time l. Staff is arrogant and rude. Totally unprofessional I must say. We ordered hot 4 chocolate drink, 1 milk coffee and 1 black coffee. All were served in a tom Collin glass. I don't think one can have coffee in a tom Collin glass at least. Here comes Poor presentation. Next is taste. Poor taste. Hot chocolate drink was as if I am drinking some sort of Bournvita drink without milk. It was all water mixed with very little milk. When we pay we expect quality and service. Totally unacceptable. Post that me and my friends were convinced that ordering something will ruin our visit. So we left. On top of it they were charging GST also along with such a high prices of items. There are several other outlets in mcleaodganj who gives better service and quality with no extra cost. The problem I think over there was :- 1. Unprofessional staff which needs training 2. Quality which needs to taken to higher level 3. Owner should visit and speak to the customers more often. I'll definitely visit again to see the change if they really want to excel in this competitive market.

Morgan's Place is located off the main road and there is a sign board in the road to guide you. The location is just amazing. They have both indoor and outdoor sitting. You can also walk to their place from Bhagsunag and McLeodganj as the way is very beautiful, different from the car route. Depending on your fitness it will take you 30-40 minutes from both places. Ambience is pretty basic. Indoors they have floor sitting and sadly the sheets and cushions were very dirty. They have placed heaters both indoor and outdoor so you can feel comfortable even in the cold weather. Menu is very creatively designed telling the story of Alice in Wonderland along side the dishes that they serve. Although, quite a few dishes were not being served and that was dissapointing. They have wood fired oven and their pizza's are quite popular. We also went with the same and the it was very tasty. We also tried the Panini, Pan cake, french fries and everything was cooked really well. They also serve beer and both red and white wine and you can ask for it.

So after 2014 today was my second trip to Morgan's. This time my order was a ginger lemon honey and a Margherita pizza. I guess I was the first guy to order pizza at their restaurant at around 11 and so the pizza that came out was not really good. It had burnt crust, almost no cheese and some how the sauce didn't taste right. I informed the server so he took it back. He came and apologize for the bad experience and requested to wait for some more time. But I should tell you that the pizza came later was worth the wait, exactly what I expected from Morgan's. Nicely done thin crust pizza with bubbly cheese and the pizza sauce actually tasted fresh. The only thing that was missing on the pizza both time was Basil, 😂😂. But still two thumbs up to the place and I am definitely going back soon. I highly recommend the place for good food, good hospitality n great view.

UNETHICAL: Got charged extra through a written bill+handwritten prices on the menu Starting with the food, we ordered fried chicken and Siciliana pizza. The pizza arrived without the eggplant topping and we were told by the server "waise bhi thoda hi daalte hain, aise hi kha lo". The pizza tasted absolutely horrible. The service was extremely slow too and many people walked out of frustration. On getting the bill, we were charged extra. The price in the original printed menu was 380 but we were charged 420 in the end. When we asked the server to show us the menu, he got a menu with changed prices with a white paper slip on top of original prices. This is extremely unethical. All in all, i would say avoid this place for sure. Be careful about what you're charged and avoid eating if you happen to be here.
