Shambhu Momo Corner – Where Momos Go to Die
The momos? Imagine if disappointment had a texture. Bland, weirdly flavored, and questioning their own existence. I ordered half a plate—thankfully, because even that felt like a life decision I’d regret.
The chutneys? A tragedy in three acts:
Red Chilli Chutney – The worst crime ever committed in the name of spice. If regret had a taste, this would be it.
Walnut Chutney – Decent, but with momos? It’s like pairing wine with Maggi—just why?
Mayonnaise – The ultimate betrayal. I came for momos, not a sandwich.
As for the service? The guy at the counter had the warmth of a deep freezer. Maybe he knew how bad the food was and was just bracing himself for customer disappointment.

We had both the vegetarian and the chicken steamed momos. The filing was just right and the outer layer wasn't very thick. The USP of this place is the peanut sauce/chutney that is served along with the regular szechwan chutney. Easy on the pocket and a must must try for a snack/quick meal in Kasol.
