Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant A/C — Restaurant in Hyderabad

A clean and decent place to try out chinese cuisine. It is inexpensive and the dishes are very nice and tasty when compared to some other fancy chinese restraunts. The place is located on the Gachibowli-Miyapur road yet one can give it a miss when driving by.

One dish you should definitely try is their kung pao chicken which tastes a little sweet and a lot more delicuous then what I have eaten at other restraunts.

One huge advantage they have is that the place gives a very homely feeling and first timers will not feel intimidated as is the case at other fancy restaurants.

The waiting time was not long and that time was utilised by savouring at some of their soups that again were awesome.

I’ve travelled to more countries than my age and this is by far my most favorite Chinese restaurant in the world. It’s owned and run by a 5th generation Chinese-Indian, so it’s the most authentic Hakka Chinese you can get in Hyderabad. His name is Kevin, he’s very friendly and always fun to talk with (the guy is very well traveled himself).

In Hyderabad, it's is one of the few places where every friend and batchmate I’ve taken is happy with the taste. Portion sizes are generous and the service is top notch. For example, when we do soup one-by-two or two-by-three, Kevin fills each bowl up to almost the same level as a full portion.

Visited this restaurant after 2 years. I used to frequent this place for lunch twice a month when I was working in my prev company. It was good to see that the food taste has remained the same. The Chinese food is authentic and flavours are good. This time, I found the use of oil to be a bit liberal for my liking, but I still enjoyed the taste. There is limited seating, maybe about 5-6 tables. But happy to see that this small family-run restaurant is still going on well.
