"From Disappointment to Delight: A Remarkable Turnaround"
I had one of the worst experiences at this restaurant. I made an online reservation for one person, which was accepted, but I was delayed by just 5–10 minutes due to unavoidable circumstances. I called the staff in advance to inform them of the delay, and they assured me it was fine. However, when I arrived, I was denied entry and asked to come back after three hours when the restaurant reopened.
It felt like I was being punished for being a solo diner rather than part of a large group. This discriminatory treatment was unacceptable. If a reservation is made, it should be honored, especially with such a short delay. To make matters worse, there were still plenty of people dining inside, and I even pleaded with them to let me have a quick meal as I was very hungry. Despite this, I was rudely turned away, which was both embarrassing and inhumane.
Interestingly, during past visits, they were overly focused on collecting positive reviews rather than ensuring genuine customer satisfaction. Now that they’ve gained some fame, it seems their attitude has shifted. Customer care appears to be an afterthought, and priority is given to rules that lack flexibility and understanding.
For a buffet service, a minimum of a one-hour slot is usually standard, but here, a mere delay of 5–10 minutes was treated as if I missed an exam. What would change in those few minutes? Their actions completely disregarded customer humanity and convenience.
In past interactions, even after I mentioned that I would leave a positive review, they repeatedly asked me to describe how I would write it. On top of that, they suggested adding more flattering and attractive words to make the restaurant appear more popular in reviews.
This behavior serves as a caution for anyone considering this place: if you’re late by even a minute, don’t expect any consideration or flexibility. Instead, you may be kicked out, regardless of your circumstances.
Follow-Up: Positive Response and Wonderful Experience
However, after I shared my concerns, Mr. Manas, the cluster head, personally reached out to address the situation. He listened carefully to my feedback, apologized sincerely, and assured me that my issues would be resolved. I decided to give the restaurant another chance, and I’m happy to say my experience was completely transformed.
The staff were empathetic and attentive this time around. When I raised concerns about certain food items, they replaced them immediately, ensuring everything was prepared according to my taste and preferences. They even refilled dishes promptly and were dedicated to making sure my visit was as comfortable as possible.
This level of care completely changed my perspective. The management's proactive approach and willingness to improve were truly commendable. I hope this renewed focus on customer care continues and that others experience the same attentive...

The Crown Jewels: Rahman, Saidul,
Rahman – The Maître D' Extraordinaire: Rahman was the architect of our evening. From the warm welcome and securing us a perfect table to periodically checking in on us, his professionalism was unmatched. He possesses a genuine talent for hospitality, making you feel seen and valued. He coordinated seamlessly with his team, ensuring a flawless flow of service. His presence was calm, assured, and the backbone of the entire operation.
Saidul – The Grill Virtuoso: As mentioned, Saidul was the undeniable star of the live counter. His skill with the tongs was like watching an artist at work. He knew the exact moment each piece of meat reached its peak perfection. His recommendations were spot-on, and he customised several skewers to our preferred spice level without a moment's hesitation. His cheerful interactions and passion for the grill were infectious and added a huge layer of enjoyment to the meal.
Alam – The Attentive Guardian: Completing this dream team was Alam. If Saidul was the star, Alam was the ever-present, vigilant guardian of our comfort. He ensured our water glasses were always full, our used plates were whisked away promptly, and every small request was met with a swift "certainly, sir." His anticipatory service meant we never had to look around for assistance; he was always there exactly when needed, yet never intrusive. His quiet efficiency allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the conversation and the food.
Final Verdict: Beyond Five Stars
ASF Barbique Jubilee Hills is more than a restaurant; it's an institution that understands the delicate balance between extraordinary food and unparalleled service. The quality of the ingredients, the mastery of the spices, and the precision of the cooking are all top-tier.
However, it is the synergy between Rahman, Saidul, and Alam that will compel me to return again and again. They don't just perform their duties; they embody the spirit of hospitality. They are a testament to the management's excellent training and their own inherent dedication to their craft.

Read moreI initially gave 5 stars but after my second visit on January 1st 2025, I’ve changed my mind and review. I’m never going to visit this place again due to their disgusting service.
They made us wait over 45 minutes for table, over an hour for serving starter. The barbecue was started when we got into desserts. Half the main course was empty. Staff was super rude to everyone, not just us. Manchuria didn’t have Manchuria. No plates, no bowls. Utensils were not cleaned properly. It was pathetic. On top of that they charged 5% tip, we were so disgusted with them and thought they will make us wait one more hour and just paid the tip and walked out.
We had a booking at 8:30, we reached location at 8:35 to 8:40 and there was waiting but no one was at front. We walked into the restaurant and couldn’t find anyone so caught a server in yellow shirt and told him we have a booking at 8:30. He said he will call the manager, but he didn’t he was super busy with his work. We later found a guy in blue shirt and he said he will have a look. Then a Muslim family walked in and they were immediately seated by a guy in brown shirt. I and few other customers walked in and followed the brown shirt guy as he seemed the one to be in charge. Everyone started asking him for their seat, when I spoke to him it was somewhere around 8:58 he said you came 30 minutes lates so you will have to wait for another 30 minutes. I was like please pull out your cctv footage, why are you not available at front desk. Then the guy beside me told that his booking is at 9PM and the Muslim family he seated had 9:30 booking. Everyone were frustrated because there were empty seats. They blocked 3 tables in front for over an hour for another Muslim family. Btw the the other Muslim 9:30 booking he got seated, the full party arrived after 9:30. So for 30 minutes they occupied those seats just eating few snacks. At 9:20 he got us seated but even then for the first starter to come onto our table it took over 30 minutes. I asked the waiter who was about to serve, we don’t have water, glasses, sauces, salt and pepper, please get us atleast sauces before you serve. The waiter said oh you need sauces wait for 10 more minutes and btw we don’t keep salt and pepper on the table. I pointed beside table has 2 sets, he said yeah your salt and pepper are on that table. Waiter was not even coming near our tables to ask for starters, he was busy placing fresh plates at...
