You may visit countries and try their prominent street foods, but we bet the taste won't match the one you'll have in the Street food of India. From mouth-watering Paani Puri, the Dahi Bhallas to the Chaat Papdi Indian Street foods are delicious. As diverse as is the country, it experiences a manifold of cuisines, each having at least one speciality of Street Food.
As a kid, we are always restricted from consuming a lot from the street due to various hygiene issues. But these days one can freely hog on amazing variation of street foods without having to think twice about the certain hygiene glitch or anything for that matter. This has been possible because several food chains have introduced Indian Street food in their dine-in restaurants with the best of the ambience and cleanliness. @masalarepublicofficial is one such vegetarian place where one can carelessly indulge into the wonderful spread of chaaats and other delicacies.
Pani puri is called by various other names and the composition of the filling and water too varies in different regions.. but I believe the emotional quotient is equal in every Indian's heart. Raj kachori is aptly called the king of all kachoris. It is a filled with numerous elements like potatoes, boiled moong daal, yoghurt, spices and the outer layer is crisp and shaped like a bowl.. the garnishing varies from Outlet to outlet but it's a true amalgamation of colours. The yellow from the bhel.. the red from the pomegranate.. the greens from coriander leaves etc .. My all time favourite dahi Puri is a smaller version of heavenly bliss filled with sweetened dahi and blend of spices.. I can literally have dahi Puri any day and anytime!
@masalarepublicofficial is doing try justice to the Indian Street food and it's serving as a flag bearer for the chaat fraternity!
This is now my go-to chaaat place and should be...

Food : Food over here speaks volumes as it is top notch all the way, every items has been carefully selected, tasted and decided upon my the management for the buffet. The normal buffet menu had few items added to it as it was a foodies event.
Starting with the soups which were served on the table , pumpkin soup was the tastiest along with the welcome drink Kiwi mojito. The other soup asian jade was not to my liking and Rabb which was a traditional drink is an acquired taste
The Makhmali paneer was well made , soft yet flavorful, Reshmi kebab which was a little spicy but also got a sweet taste because of the sugar jaali.
There were few items from the Gujarati world like Khandavi,Chaat,Hing Samosa,Kaju Pakodi,Bhakerwadi,Navratan mixture which were delicious in their own way
Cholay kulchay had a long line of crowd and it was being served piping hot as part of the live kitchen model
Pani puri was present with sweet and spicy juice avaiable in two jars which made it easy to carry it back to the table ,raj kachori, dahi papdi chaat were amazing as expected
There were many dishes as part of the maincourse but didnt get to try them all as I was full by the time starters and chat ended . The corn mutter pulao went well with the different curries that were present there like Kofta shaam bahare, paneer dil bahare, lobiya triscal, dal fry, rajma rasila, pitla.
In the desserts section Akhrot halwa was the favorite and mango rasmalai required repeats
Overall : This is an amazing place to visit for your...
Read moreNorth indian variety but with a not so North indian taste. Our company ordered sweets from Dadus since many years and I liked the sweets. Last year some major quality issues happened and we had to throw the entire stock of sweets. Thinking it was a one of issue and possibly only at a particular Dadu shop, I thought of trying another one yesterday. I wanted to buy some dry snacks for home and ended up buying to many things. Everything looked freshly made and it was fresh as well. I bought potato Samosa, onion kachori, dry kachori, Masala Mathri and sugar free Kaju Katli. When tasted each of these products, I didn't find them anywhere close to the similar products offered by Karachi Bakery. Infact I find products much better at many other places. My kids love Kaju Katli but they didn't take anything more than to taste from the one I bought. Samosa I get better one at Brijwasi which is close to my apartment and instead of traveling so much. Mathri any local north Indian shops prepare much better than these guys. I am not sure when they have such a big setup why don't they employ someone who understands the North Indian food taste. Dry Kachori was so bad that it hardly had any fillings in it. Also onion Kachori and Samosa you can get at Kesariya in Kondapur which is at least 10 times better than Dadus. Samosa at Karachi is 15 times better than this and it is nearby at Madhapur.
I am surely not visiting Dadus in future.
I hope that I could give you good details. If the review helped you then please do not forget to give a click on thumbs...
