Amnesia lounge bar is one of the renowned places in Jubliee hills road no. 36. From the time of becoming a landmark to the present of still sustaining that position, amnesia has remained consistent in everything. Now they have also expanded into two, with a sky bar at Inorbit Mall. The place is undoubtedly huge with an inside seating, outside seating, a rooftop area and a private bay with bar. There are multiple options to choose from as in where to sit according to the mood. Many live bands perform daily here, giving a surreal experience. Was here a few days back for a food review session with the bunch of Foodies. Choose to stay at the rooftop area and enjoyed the live band performance of band Aatish. They were extremely good, the mood lit up with their music. Food and drinks Started with a couple of mocktails and cocktails. Amnesia strongly is the best, for the presentation of the drinks. The fruit punch, ice cola are the top amazing among the mocktails and for cocktails would recommend the screw driver. Also tried one coffee Mocktail, which was okaish but could have been better. The food here is not just tasty but also very presentable. The desi murg tikka, chicken chuz le, local kodi are signature starters and are Highly recommended. Other starters we tried were paneer tikka, cheese chilly rolls, and Masala prawns. Loved their loaded chicken pizza, the topping and the crust were upto the mark 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 One of the best vegetarian starter i tried here was the chilly paneer in siracha sauce. Highly recommended for the vegetarians. The Mediterranean Pizza here was also decent here. The chicken wings can be improved, specially with the marination part. The malai broccoli is another star of among the veg starters. Highly recommended 👍🏻 Amnesia surely serves one of the best Lamb Galutotis in the city. I bet once you eat it here, you will come again just for that. Amazing taste and the Galutotis just melt in the mouth. For the main course had the Creamy Alfredo Pasta, which was delicious with the apt consistency of sauce and the flavours were optimum. Amnesia has a signature chicken biryani on the menu, which is undoubtedly the best for the pubs to serve biryani. I would say it's not typically a Hyderabadi biryani but you would not be able to resist having it after a first bite. Murg Makhani and naan go well together for the main course. Overall the satisfying drinks and food makes this iconic place a perfect one to party, enjoy and also have good food. They even have happy hours menu served daily. Amnesia, one of the favourite places. Highly recommended...

Amnesia, a roof top lounge on a high street is making every step right to attract the crowd. While they are already known for their one of the best music and sound system in the city, they have just revamped their whole menu - to ensure they will also be known for their food too. Reached this place around 8.30 and this place was already bustling with crowd. We have quickly settled at one of the corner tables which had both the view of the city and the live music. Hot Toddy came as a savior to my sore throat and cold and acted as a perfect starter to my dinner. While I havent tried any other mocktails for the same reason, my friends liked them. Sriracha Chilli paneer though tasted delicious and sriracha gave that spice flavor to taste buds, Paneer turned out to be hard. When you go with low expectations and first dish itself disappoints you, you feel things might go down the line. But that turned out other way round - next on the table was Prawns sesame on toast which is made of minced Prawns and lemon grass with bird eye chilli. Crunchy outside and juicy inside and was a perfect starter to me. Though I expected bird eye chilli to be more spicy, I liked it the way it was. Mushroom galouti kebab was another star dish and was melt in mouth. Cheese Corn rolls as expected was Crispy and tasted good but was oily for me. Cheese garlic bread was a decent try and haven't disappointed. Malai brocolli skewers was prepared with fresh cuts of brocolli and that creamy layer gave the rich taste and everyone on the table enjoyed it. Spicy Chicken nuggets for me was little undercooked inside, otherwise tasted decent. Chicken Tikka Tacos - soft shell tortilla with mozzarella cheese and corn was an all right dish for me. Their veg and chicken Sliders will act as a perfect juicy munching over the drinks. Peri Peri wings which came in as a last starter could have been better in taste and chicken would have been more tender. My live for biryani, made me order a biryani here too ( no one would expect a biryani to be delivered better in lounges, atleast not me). Requested for double masala as usual, though there wasn't enough masala, biryani was more than satisfactory for a place like this. Did I forget to mention about their alcohol infused Icecream? A must try for alcoholics!
Overall, my perception of the place has changed totally and their new menu is going to deliver some delicious dishes to pamper your taste buds. And when such delicious food is paired with amazing music? Do I need...
Read moreAmnesia has been a brand name in jubilee hills, when it comes to night life fun. Located at road no 36, makes it very accessible for most of the young IT crowd. It's been 1 year for me since I visited this place for the first time and now the 2nd time was a few days back, when I was invited for food review session with other foodies, this place has not only been consistent but also they have improvised a lot. Maintaining the quality for so long and improvising can't be done by every place, but this place holds an exception.
They have expanded their outlet with another Sky bar in Inorbit mall, which is also quite good. Here in Jubilee hills, they have an amazing ambiance, with indoor seating arrangement as well as rooftop seating. We chose to be seated at the rooftop seating. They have different bands playing everyday, and on my day of visit they had Aatish band, they were really good and we had fun listening to them.
Now coming to the food and drinks, we started with mocktails and cocktails. As I don't have cocktails, I won't be listing here about them, only the mocktails I will list out.
My personal favourites were Fruit punch, Ice cola and Sambuca paan.
Coming to the non veg starters, my personal favourites were- Desi murg tikka, local kodi and chicken chuz le. All of these were well coated with spices and tasted damn good. I highly recommend these to try when you visit this place.
Mutton galouti kebab ever tried? Or are you a fan of it? One answer, go and try it at this place, it's so soft and flavourful, it just melts in your mouth.
Chicken wings could have been made better. Chicken pizza tasted decent loaded with a good amount of cheese.
Veg starters: Chilli paneer in Sriracha was the best one and should be tried by veg lovers. Paneer tikka was decent in taste. Malai Broccoli skewers tasted really good and was quite soft. Veg manchurian was really soft and nice and tasted great, well cooked in the sauces. Cheese corn cigar rolls tasted great. Prawn masala also tasted really great, well coated with spices and was spicy. I enjoyed it.
Overall, it was a really good experience for me with the delicious food and drink and also the live music.
