Read moreWe had a terrible experience last night. Did not expect this from the Marriott label. The food was spotty in it's quality. Galauti kabab was good but pathar ka gosht, though tender, was over seasoned. Broccoli was good but overloaded with creme. Shrimp was exquisite. Attention to detail and consistency was lacking. I was so looking forward to an amazing family dinner (18 people) which turned out to be a disaster. The AC stopped working half way through. Mysteriously pedestal fans appeared out of nowhere. Which leads me to believe that this is a regular occurrence. The pedestal fan would not oscillate even after 15 minutes of frantic efforts by a staff member. He then gave up. Meanwhile it took me several attempts, over 20 minutes, to relentlessly worm through layers of useless restaurant staff (who all gave mealy mouthed canned answers) to get to one single person who was forced to admit the problem and TAKE OWNERSHIP to SOLVE THE DAMN PROBLEM of getting the AC working again. On top of that, I had to remind the wait staff at least 2-3 times to serve water. Yet, there were enough waiters hanging around trying to look busy. Marriott, you have a loooooong way to go to improve your service and empower your staff at the lowest levels, cut out the useless layers of babus and have single minded focus on delighting the customer. And guess what, I am not holding my breath and waiting for the day you will get your act together. You are one and done in my book. You may still have hordes of customers who will patronize you I am sure. It will be because they are willing to accept your crappy service. Bye...

This is truly one of the worst meals I have had let alone the exorbitant price. We ordered the veg meal set and not a single dish stood out, the soup not good, the paneer the biryani were all average at best. The deserts were borderline inedible. The drinks were also not great. The server also didn’t know what dishes we were being served which is barely acceptable for a place like this.
I can’t overstate how disappointed I am. This is crazy because this is literally the first bad review I have ever left on a restaurant (despite how underwhelmed I have been in the past) - I need you to understand this place is not worth it please do not spend your money here I am confident that you’ll find better food literally anywhere else while saving your wallet from being depleted. This is not an exaggeration.
After the first few courses I sat there wondering how the reviews for this place were SO HIGH. At the end there was such a weird amount of pressure to review the place with the waitresses standing over our shoulders waiting for us to review barely taking no for an answer.
I think the only reasons to eat here is if you are staying at the hotel and literally either cannot be bothered to walk past the lobby or physically cannot. Perhaps if you are looking for a fancy vibe but you don’t care about the taste of the food?? But even then I would reconsider, maybe order delivery from Zomato instead??
The atmosphere is okay, nothing against it, the service was also okay. I hope this makes it to you through the shocking amount of good reviews and makes you reconsider your decision to...
