Chin Ling — Restaurant in Hyderabad

My girlfriend recommended this CHING LING and its her favourite chinese restaurant, but I had the worst chinese food experience ever. I had ordered for 'chicken corn soup' & 'chicken schezwan fried noodles' of which soup smelled very bad and tasted more worse. That peculiar smell of uncooked chicken was still there in it and moreover they used canned corn and did not seasoned it properly that is why I guess it smelled like that. Coming to noodles, that fried noodles were all soggy and chef used a whole lot of onions in it which ruined its taste and that pungent smell of onions was still there in it. It was tasting more like onion fried noodles then than chicken fried noodles. Truely speaking this was one of the worst chinese food experience for me. But I truely appreciate the service staff, they knew how to handle a busy restaurant. I had to wait for table for 15mins and during that time, one of their service personal took my order and when i got the table, food was served within 5 - 7 mins(hats off guys). I am not writing all this just like that, just for sake of it. Maybe my expectations were different, my tastebuds craved for some authentic chinese food and what was delivered was not what I expected. Chin ling - people say its the first Chinese (or Indo chinese if that is satisfying) in our twin cities which started way back in 1982. This cozy place can house upto 40 people comfortably and is comfortable enough to complete your meal without any complain. Nothing posh but maintained neat and tidy.

We quickly ordered chicken corn soup, chilli loose Prawns in the first round. While chicken soup was decent but nothing exciting, taste of loose Prawns outperformed many places that I have tried; Crispy outside and juicy inside - this was the best dish of the night. Pepper fish was another delectable dish that we tried along with chicken drumsticks. Chicken fried noodles when had with ginger chicken was super awesome 👌 ( can't recollect when is the last time I have enjoyed fried noodles so much) Schezwan chicken fried rice with chilli chicken (wet) did make our meal a satisfying one. However, I felt chicken fried rice carried less flavor of schezwan!

Almost all the dishes are priced under 200 and the portion sizes are very good. We ordered many dishes and our bill came to around 1500 only....

This is the first time I visited this hotel seeing the reviews on Google, I had a very bad experience here, I ordered chicken noodles and prawns Manchurian, along with chicken they also served some hair with the noodles, I waited for atleast 30 mins to get my order and when I got it , it had hair in it , again I had to wait for about 15 mins to get my order again, the taste of the noodles was good but the prawns were not fully cooked it was half cooked , the place is small but the ambience is good , if you have a lot of time only then visit this place because you should be waiting for 15 to 20 mins to get the table. I must say this i will not visit...
