Pista House in Secunderabad is an absolute delight for food lovers, especially those craving authentic Hyderabadi flavors. My recent visit was a fantastic experience, and here's why:
Ambience & Hygiene The restaurant is well-maintained with a clean and inviting atmosphere. The seating arrangement is comfortable, and the interiors reflect a modern yet traditional touch, making it a great place for families and groups. Hygiene standards are impressive, with neatly maintained tables and prompt cleaning.
Food Quality & Taste The food here is nothing short of amazing! I tried their signature Hyderabadi Biryani, and it was simply outstanding—perfectly cooked basmati rice, tender and juicy meat, and just the right balance of spices. The aroma itself was enough to make my mouth water.
Their Haleem (available seasonally) is a must-try! It's rich, creamy, and packed with flavors, easily one of the best in the city. Apart from these, I also tried their Chicken 65 and Mutton Kebab, both of which were deliciously crispy on the outside and juicy inside.
Service & Pricing The staff was courteous and attentive, ensuring quick service even during peak hours. They were knowledgeable about the menu and helped with recommendations. The pricing is reasonable for the quality and portion sizes offered. While it’s not the cheapest option, it definitely provides great value for money.
Overall Experience Pista House, Secunderabad, is a must-visit if you love Hyderabadi cuisine. Whether you're craving biryani, haleem, or delectable sweets like Qubani Ka Meetha, they have it all. Highly recommended for a fulfilling and flavorful meal!

I had the pleasure of trying their famous Biryani, and it was absolutely delightful. The flavors were rich and aromatic, and the rice was cooked to perfectio and with heavenly taste that left me craving for more. The portion size was generous.
In addition to the Biryani, I also tried their Pathar Ga Gosh, which was a unique and flavorsome dish. The meat was tender and succulent, cooked to perfection on a hot stone. The spices were well-balanced, allowing the flavors to shine through.
For dessert, I tried their Apricot Delight and some other sweet treats. Each bite of Apricot Delight was a burst of flavors and left me with a satisfying end to the meal.
I can confidently say that Pista House on SD Road, Hyderabad, is a gem of a restaurant. The quality of the food is outstanding, and the hygiene standards are impeccable. Whether you're a fan of Biryani, Pathar Ga Gosh, or delightful desserts, this place has something to offer for everyone.

Read moreI had the very worst experience in this branch of pista house.
The concerning factor for me is I find few of the staff to be very lazy. Starting from the counter outside to the waiters inside serving are very rude.
All the female staff seems to be courteous
Food taste and quality is also concerning.
Chilli Prawns - medium spiced, prawns are not fresh. Lumps of batter fried and uncooked found in the starter. Initially when the order was taken, the waiter said that it would take 15 minutes to deliver the order to the table. To the amazemt the order came in less than 2 minutes. With the taste I understood why it only took 2 minutes. A different order which was cancelled by a different customer was slightly modified and it was served to our table.
Butter Naan - perfectly served with Quality (5 star for this)
Chicken Tikka Masala - extremely salty. The chicken pieces are definitely not the chicken tikka. Again it was a modified dish which was made from chicken pieces which are not tikka.
Zafrani Chicken 65 Biryani - one of the worst biryanis I've ever tasted. Felt like Pista House had lost the authenticity of biryani. Potrayel and served dish doesn't match at all.
Items Ordered from the front counter. Chicken Salad - served with perfect amount of veggies and chicken (5 star for this item)
Chicken 65 roll - Felt like the chicken is rotten (1 star)
Overall it was a dissatisfaction from the newly opened pista house branch in...
