I have visited Chittor Naidu Drive In multiple times, and each visit has been a good experience for me. Earlier, it was known as Cafe Southern, so I have seen the change in name and the slight improvements they added over time. The place is perfect for casual hangouts, especially during evenings, and that is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. The ambiance is open and comfortable, which makes it easy to spend time here for a relaxed meal.
One thing I personally like the most is the taste of the food. Every dish I ordered so far has been flavorful and enjoyable. The South Indian items, especially dosas and idlis, are tasty and served hot. Even after visiting many times, the quality has remained consistent. Portions are also satisfying. I usually go with friends, and we all sit and enjoy without any hurry.
The price may feel a little on the higher side, especially when compared to normal roadside tiffin places, but considering the location, cleanliness, seating area, and overall vibe, I feel it is fine. The place is well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and provide quick service even when the place gets busy.
Parking is also easy because it is a drive-in type setup. That convenience itself makes it a good choice at late hours too. I personally had several good experiences here — relaxing, enjoying food, and spending quality time. So, I would say this spot is definitely worth visiting if you want tasty food and a comfortable place to sit with friends or family in...
Read moreDrive In, the place is in the heart of hi-tech City and very spacious for parking. It's a food court with self service. They have tiffins, chineese and so called some Rayalseema style cuisine.
Yaar I don't understand when the purpose of food joint is to serve food, why one misses out and assumes you can serve anything you want. Now in recent times I never rated a place for food at 1 at least. Ordered Mutton Kheema Parota and Boneless Chicken Pulov as per Menu. For these two items they charged about Rs.700/-.
Now let me come to taste of food. Parota was really good. Mutton Kheema was the main dish, but it was more of Onion Curry with little Kheema in it. Boneless Chicken Pulov was second dish. Can someone pls tell them for heaven sake Bagara Rice and Chicken Curry does not become a Chicken Pulov when served to customer.
And it does not end here. Except Parota, no dish tasted good.
It's just not worth it for food. They do have a coffee stall, juice counter. But after tasting food and wasting money, leaving the place was best.
Probably if you are visiting try tiffins hope they are good. If anyone had tiffins and they are good you may still try visiting the place. At...
Read moreI recently visited Chittoor Naidu Drive-In in Hyderabad, and I genuinely had a pleasant experience. The food was really good — fresh, flavourful, and nicely spiced without being too oily or heavy. I tried their Andhra-style dishes along with some tandoori items, and everything tasted homely yet restaurant-quality. The portion sizes were generous, and I felt the pricing was quite reasonable considering the quality and quantity.
The place has a very nice open-air atmosphere, which makes it feel relaxed and lively at the same time. It’s perfect for casual hangouts with friends or family, especially in the evenings when there’s a cool breeze. What made me happiest is that it’s pet-friendly — I could bring my dog along, and the staff were genuinely welcoming. They even brought a bowl of water for him without me asking, which was really thoughtful.
There’s ample parking space, and the location near Shilparamam is convenient. The only small issue is that it can get a bit crowded on weekends, so service slows down slightly. Still, I would definitely visit again. For good food, an easy vibe, and a place where your pets are welcome, Chittoor Naidu Drive-In is...
