Nestled within the bustling Asian Satyam Mall in Ameerpet, Hyderabad, Habibo Mandi promises a culinary journey through the heart of Arabic flavors, all within the confines of its classic ambiance. Stepping into the restaurant feels like entering a traditional Arabian oasis, with ornate décor, intricate lanterns, and plush seating arrangements that transport diners to the vibrant streets of the Middle East.
However, the true star of the show is undoubtedly the food. Each dish is a symphony of aromatic spices and carefully selected ingredients, showcasing the rich culinary heritage of the region. From succulent kebabs to fragrant biryanis and hearty stews, every bite is a testament to the chef's dedication to authenticity and quality. The Mandi, in particular, stands out as a must-try dish, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor.
While the food undoubtedly steals the spotlight, the service at Habibo Mandi leaves something to be desired. While staff members are polite and accommodating, there were instances of delays and inconsistency in service, detracting slightly from the overall dining experience.

Read moreHabibo has the highest ratings for a Mandi restaurant both on Zomato and on Google. I was apprehensive about dragging my entire family along as it’s quite some distance from our residence but took a chance. Luckily for me the food was amazing! And everyone in the family loved it. We started off with lasooni jhinga which is essentially garlic prawns. The dish came with some battered deep fried prawns in a dry rub made with cashews and garlic. The dry rub was extremely salty but the prawns were piping hot and that sort of helped redeem the dish. Next came the seasoned smoked fish, the dish came with just six pieces but was tantalizing thanks to its smoke which left a wonderful mouthfeel even after eating. The fish was Uber soft and melt in the mouth delicious. I highly recommend getting this dish. We got juicy mutton and chicken Mandi. The rice was extremely flavorful without causing the heaviness and upset tummy normally associated with biryani. It was just like the rice we had as part of maqlooba in Jordan. It took me back to those wonderful memories. Between the mutton and chicken the mutton was undoubtedly better. The bits of raisins, fried onions in the dish...
Read moreI think we’ve finally found a place in the city where you can enjoy authentic North Indian food — and that’s Habibo. While their non-veg dishes are already well-known and delicious, we were pleasantly surprised by how good their Butter Paneer Masala was. Rich in flavour, creamy, and perfectly spiced — it’s definitely one of the best we’ve had in a while.
The portion sizes are generous, and the quality of ingredients really stands out. Whether you’re going for veg or non-veg, the food feels homely yet restaurant-style in the best way possible.
The staff is polite, friendly, and attentive, which makes the experience even better. Service was quick, and the overall vibe of the place is warm and inviting — ideal for family dinners or outings with friends.
The only drawback is that they use the mall’s public washroom, which wasn’t very clean during our visit. If they could manage a dedicated restroom, it would really elevate the experience.
A small tip — check District or Dineout before you go, as you might find good offers for table bookings.
In short, Habibo has become a new favourite. Highly recommended for North Indian and...
