Brown Bear Bakers - Ameerpet — Restaurant in Hyderabad

I ordered a Tandoori Paneer Pizza from this shop today, and I must say it was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. From the moment I opened the box, I could tell something was off. The pizza looked unappetizing, and unfortunately, my first impression was right.

The quality of the ingredients used was extremely poor. The paneer pieces were sparse and seemed to be of the lowest grade possible. The vegetables were not fresh, and the cheese lacked the rich, creamy texture that makes a pizza enjoyable. Instead, it was rubbery and tasteless. The spices and flavorings that are supposed to make a Tandoori Paneer Pizza special were barely noticeable, contributing to an overall unpalatable dish.

However, the most disappointing aspect was the crust. The bread was dry and stale, far from the crispy yet soft texture one expects from a good pizza. As I bit into it, flour started coming off the bread, creating a mess and leaving a gritty taste in my mouth. It was clear that the dough was not properly prepared or cooked.

The entire experience was a huge letdown. I had high hopes when I placed my order today, expecting a delicious meal, but what I received was far from that. The pizza was barely edible, and I ended up throwing most of it away. For the price I paid, this was absolutely unacceptable.

I visited Brown Bear bakery expecting good service and quality food since it’s been an old establishment, but my experience was quite disappointing. While the air flow seemed okay at first, the fans were running very slow. Even after requesting several times to speed up the fans or turn on the AC, the staff ignored my requests, including the person at the billing counter.

I ordered a veg pizza (₹170) and a veg burger. The pizza had very few vegetables — mostly just onions and capsicum — and didn’t feel worth the price. Worse, I noticed that they used the same cutter for both veg and non-veg items without cleaning it, which is unacceptable for hygiene and dietary reasons.

The veg burger was unimpressive as well; it seemed like they just stuffed it with the aloo curry usually found inside samosas. I couldn’t tell if it was freshly made. Overall, my experience was not as expected and left me...

Extremely Disappointed – Found Hair in the Cake!

I recently bought a cake from Brown Bear Store in Ameerpet, and what should have been a delightful experience turned into a nightmare. The cake looked great, but when I served it, I found hair inside the cake slice (picture attached). This is unacceptable and unhygienic.

For a place that claims to care about quality and baking standards, this shows a clear lack of cleanliness and food safety. I expected much better from a store in such a busy area like Ameerpet.

I will definitely not recommend Brown Bear to anyone. If you're thinking of ordering from here – please check carefully. Food hygiene is not something to take lightly, especially in desserts meant for special occasions.
