We went to a family lunch today. We ordered guntur idly, teddy dosa, geometry dosa, paneer pudina tikka, north indian thali, bobbatlu, Istha special coconut milk and chocolate ice cream.
The fancy name of Geometry dosa sky rocketed our expectations after seeing teddy dosa pics online. But turned out to be just a plain dosa folded as a cone, which is how it is served at several places. But all the dishes seemed fresh and tasted delicious. The North Indian thali was exquisite, each subzi was delicious and looked like they were prepared with care. We ordered paneer after seeing the reviews online and weren't disappointed. It was soft on the outside, firm inside and seemed fresh.
After seeing the bill, we realized the thali served was the weekend festive thali. On asking the waiter, he informed us the regular North Indian thali was not available on weekends. When I told him he should've informed us while ordering, he said all the regular customers knew about it. It's not about the extra hundred bucks, but he should've communicated up front. The staff here are very irresponsible, I went along with my 4yr old kids ordered lunch in between 2.30pm to 2.45 pm, they came ard 3.30 with the different dish . I asked them to recheck, the one who took our order doesnot know the menu only he not even know the difference between fried rice and noodles. Since my kids are hungry I asked them to get it fast they have given our food by 4pm. They just kept on our tables and went without serving. So we asked who will be the concerned authority, even they were not taking it seriously and telling us the crowd is huge so it happens.

In case of Pappu Avakaya Annam, we expected it to be made of Toor Dal. But it was done by Moong dal.
The waiters were not well trained. No proper coordination between themselves.
We went as a group of 4. Only 2 glasses were put even after saying we are 4 in total
Wrong items were served to us. We had a doubt about the order and we delayed having food expecting waiter would return back to take the food items back. After 5 min the waiter came and said this is not our order and our order will come in 5 more minutes. We got our Dosa platter after 30 min of ordering while everyone's order who came after us was served before.
We literally had to ask 6 times to fill in the chutney vessels. We finally got frustrated and complained to the manager !
