Honestly speaking, this place doesn’t remind you of Turkey!
My experience was a little strange.
I walked into the store with an international credit card since I was visiting Hyderabad. I didn’t realize it was a CASH ONLY store (didn’t see any sign outside the store). I placed the order and at the time of payment, the tall guy with a beard (couldn’t catch the name) allowed me to eat without any payment as I mentioned that I can get the cash next time when I pass by the store. All good, I appreciated the guy for his gesture as a Muslim in the month of Ramadan. Car parking was a mess so suggest folks to ride to this place.
I made two trips to the store to pay back the billed amount based on how much cash I had each time since I use my int’l card everywhere possible. All fair so far.
As soon as I was walking away with the change, I noticed ₹4 less (it’s not about the money but the fact that the guy decided to deduct that thinking he could make that decision). When I asked him for the difference, funny, in front of other people, told me how big of a favor he did by letting me eat without paying him the first day so that’s why he chose to keep the difference. Remember, I came with an international credit card that worked elsewhere but not at this store.
In the end, I feel that people with good intentions don’t brag about their kind gesture. When it comes to clearing the dues, how can someone decide they can keep extra? How would that ₹4 make a difference to them? It definitely doesn’t make any difference to me but I was surprised.
Finally, I replied to that guy that the ₹4 is not for me to keep. I rather give it to someone poor standing outside the store asking for money which I eventually did.
Moral of the story: If you have an ounce of respect for others, don’t brag, stay humble. Plus, when it comes to money, if you want every rupee and paise then don’t feel bad when the other person asks the...
Read moreThe place boasts an engineering feat where the meat of chicken is roasted on a rotating vertical steel rod with heat radiating from the posterior region of this monstrous mechanical system. The chicken has a smoky dry flavour which is coupled with fresh greens which are scarcely served with the chicken. Although the literary rate of the south of india is considered to be higher than the north people seem to have forgotten about the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons that are potential carcinogens found in the roasted chicken. The dish consists of dry chicken representing the sun basked lizard set on fire in the Sahara, the greens representing deforestation in the amazon, crispy fries and trash sauce. Being brutually honest if i were to eat them all seperate , i would have given a one star rating being merciful towards the lizard. But , when all these ingredients meet they create an explosion of flavour in the mouth. The neurons go into a frenzy when they have an electrical impulse translating to a smoky roasted chicken with greens complimenting each other at divine levels and the trash sauce turns into a flavour enhancer from mars. The place is an excellent choice. If you want to eat at the place at a time of rush you might have to stare at people eating to let them know that youre waiting. Also, a very budget friendly place for the middle class. Dont think too much about the carcinogens of the roasted chicken because if its not the cancer thats gonna kill you it'll prolly gonna be Corona. Stay safe and...
Read moreI recently visited Istanbul and was blown away by their exceptional chicken platter. For those who prioritize high-protein meals, this restaurant is a true gem. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. Each piece was well-seasoned and grilled to perfection, making it a standout dish.
Accompanying the chicken were delicious bread steaks that added a hearty and satisfying component to the meal. The bread was fresh, slightly toasted, and paired wonderfully with the juicy chicken. It’s clear that the kitchen takes great care in preparing every element of the platter.
In addition to the superb taste, the portions were generous, making it a perfect choice for anyone looking to fuel up on protein. Whether you're an athlete, fitness enthusiast, or simply someone who enjoys a good, protein-rich meal, Istanbul has you covered.
The ambiance of the restaurant was also welcoming, and the staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. If you’re in the area and looking for a high-protein meal that doesn’t compromise on taste, I highly recommend trying the chicken platter at Istanbul...
