Medoe Curated Buffet — Restaurant in Hyderabad

Today, I dined at Medoe Curated Buffet for lunch. While the restaurant enjoys a prime spot at Skyview, navigating inside the building was challenging due to a lack of proper markings. Upon arrival, we waited for 10 minutes as the receptionist was occupied with a personal call, leading to initial frustration. Later, she attended to us and escorted us to our table, intermittently checking if we were satisfied with the food. Unfortunately, the welcome drink provided was surprisingly salty, leaving a disappointing first impression. The self-service buffet offered a decent variety of dishes with average taste. While most items were self-service, the only table-serviced item was ice cream. Despite the remarkable ambiance, the same couldn't be said for the food or service. We waited an additional 15 minutes for the check, despite the restaurant having only a decent number of diners. The reason for the delay was unclear. Upon receiving the bill, we noticed a service charge of 199rs, which seemed absurd as it was all self-service. Thankfully, it was removed upon request. Furthermore, the insistence on rating the experience on Google felt forced and uncomfortable. Overall, while the location impresses, the experience left us thoroughly disappointed. If you're seeking a picturesque spot for social media or fancy ambiance, it's suitable. However, if you crave quality food and service, it's best to explore other venues. This place is overrated, overpriced, and lacks in both quality...

Serving staff are pretty well mannered and tending to diners requests. The problem with the service came up when I am trying to pay the bill. They added an additional service charge of 500/- which is illegal as per GST rules and the staff their didn't accept the payment via swiggy dineout even though the restaurant is showing up in dineout app. We need to wait at our table for half an hour after our completion of the meal to talk with manager w.r.t this issues. Although both the issues are resolved after talking to the manager but left a bad opinion on the service of the restaurant.

Soup : 5/5 Manchow soup with fried noodles - The soup was delicious . Salads : Salads that are present in the buffet are good but very limited Starters : 4/5 Items : Paneer Tikka, Manchurian, Banana fired bajji. veg croquettes, momos on the dining table, panipuri and pizza Review : Except the veg croquettes , rest of the starters are good. The veg croquettes are bland and not fresh / hot even though we arrived for the dinner buffet pretty early 7 p.m ish.

Mains : 3/5 The white sauce pasta seemed like prepared by split milk. Didn't expect this from a buffet where the main theme is curating the best of the dishes.

Atmosphere : 5/5 Absolutely lovely place for a get together with serene atmosphere. Don't know how it will be on a weekday but on weekend it's an awesome...

One of the pathetic experience we ever had on our special day.

Opted this place by seeing the reviews and the location it is put up, To our surprise this turned out be a worst choice, on a weekend also they have just 3 customers, people there are least bothered to serve the customers, we have to call out loud for every small thing. Quick points for those people who are looking for a fair and genuine review like us.... Let's help eachother with some honesty!

The cutlery kept on the table is shapeless and bent Soups served has only water with unbearable spices Starters are served mild hot and tasteless You have to literally search for main course they hardly have anything other than dried noodles and biriyani with couple of curries and all are cold, this is so strange and their team is happily chilling The plate in the picture is what I could heavily pick to stop the appetite and the sprouts salad has tiny stones for which they claimed it to be pepper To cover all these issues the chef comes and says he will freshly cook and bring what we want to eat.

Finally they charged us Rs 999 per head and made the bill of Rs1999 plus taxes for having literally nothing. Not sure if money/food has got some value these days.

Now the choice is left to you about such places in such posh locations making so much of money merely by cheating...
