CAFE NILOFER CAFE.
The new branch at Hitech / knowledge city. I know this write up isnât colourful as there are no pics. This is my state of mind after visiting this place. Hence donât feel like posting pics and promoting a place which didnât appeal to me
Like movies , even eating joints when hyped, raises expectations and this experience is damp squib. The place is so crowded that itâs unbelievable. Is that the reflection of quality food etc. I am not sure. I make 500 times better chai than the place. Bun maska is the same everywhere these days. Osmania biscuits are better at other places. This is what we ordered and felt disappointed
Is it a place to hang out over-a cup of chai ? Not for me as I like less crowded and quiet places. The waiting time if u want to sit is between 10 to 20 mins. When I went at 3 pm. I donât know how will it be in the peak time.
The menu spread is the same like in their other places. Didnât venture after a low standard chai. And cant afford such expensiveness
The worst thing is the parking. They have valet and I am not kidding it took them 40 mins to get us our car. We were chasing for it and after 39 mins they told us that car is got someotime back and itâs itâs on the road ahead. This was damn frustrating as they could have had some systems. Hope Babu Rao Garu takes responsibility as he ought to be setting some systems to control crowd and parking. Just starting more centres wont build reputation
I will surely not go again as my home chai and other few joints is a better place to sip chai and have better chai and not spend exorbitantly. Problems of over hype places. If someone wants good chai and good peaceful time , come with me and I will show u better places by all means. You wonât be disappointed like Me. They say chai can never go wrong and coffee can. But thatâs not...
Read moreOh! If there are any blind Nilofer brand lover then you will be disappointed. Well, so the new hitech city branch is just hyped too much for what they are providing. I have tried Nilofer lakdikapool and banjara hills both. I understand people come to Nilofer to have their very unique and special tea with bun maska. Nilofer lakdikapool sell the same tea same taste for less than 100Rs. Same tea same tea is been sold by Banjara hills branch for a range between 100-200 coz of the premium dine-in space they made BUT in hitech city the tea price starts from 200Rs and the taste is not the same. The size of the cup is reduced they quantity they give in the entire flask is reduced and taste also changed. I had Nilofer special tea and Ginger tea, and ginger tea was not at all good. They added so much ginger that it tasted like some ginger syrup not tea. Totally not worth of 210-240rs tea with not so great quality. I still remember the taste of the Nilofer Banjara hills tea which is so different than this. They are not maintaining the taste and quality of their main item. Secondly, i have tried Beatroot nugget in Banjara hills branch and here in Hitech city the size and quality both got reduced but price increased. I also tried veg puff which is so tiny and invisible filling. A small single counter bakery sells better puff than this.
So, itâs definitely not the worth the place for such a high price with tiny taste and quality and quantity. If you just wanna sit in AC with some sophisticated table and chair then Nilofer hitech city is good otherwise its not...
Read moreVisited CafĂ© Niloufer â Hitech City recently after hearing a lot of buzz about it, and it was definitely one of the busiest cafes Iâve seen in the area. The crowd speaks volumes about its popularity, and the place is always bustling with activity, especially during peak hours. The ambience is modern and clean, and the service is fast considering how packed it usually is.
That said, I personally felt the overall experience was a bit underwhelming. While the menu offers a variety of snacks, teas, and baked goods, the taste was quite average. Items like Osmania biscuits and the signature Irani chai were decent, but didnât really live up to the hype â especially given the price point.
The pricing is definitely on the higher side for what is essentially traditional Hyderabad-style cafĂ© fare. For instance, a cup of tea or a small snack here costs noticeably more than at other local cafes offering similar flavors. It feels more like youâre paying for the brand name rather than a unique culinary experience.
That said, the cafĂ© is clean, well-maintained, and the service staff are efficient. It might be a nice place to visit once just to see what the fuss is about, or to catch up with friends in a lively setting. However, if youâre looking purely for value-for-money or exceptional taste, there are better alternatives nearby.
In short, CafĂ© Niloufer â Hitech City is good for a one-time experience or for those who want to check out a well-known local chain, but it didnât leave a lasting impression for me to keep...
