A Disappointing Experience...
I had high hopes for this place, but for it to turn out this disappointing is unreal.
Food
We ordered the following:
Pulled Chicken Pita Wrap (2/10) This pita wrap was an absolute rip-off. It had more salad and mayo than the meager amount of chicken it contained.
Pulled Chicken Wrap (4/10) Honestly, I’ve had shawarma that cost much less and tasted way better than this so-called chicken wrap.
Creamy Cashew Spicy Chicken with Rice (3/10) Let me be blunt—it was essentially two small pieces of chicken tenders drowned in tandoori mayo gravy with a side of lemon rice. Horrible.
Chicken Wings (4.5/10) Pretty mediocre. I had high hopes for these, given the restaurant’s reputation, but they were just a pile of fried mess.
Butterfly Chicken (-/10) Surprisingly, this never arrived. Even though the server repeated our order twice, it just didn’t show up. We waited an additional 15-20 minutes for it, but nothing.
A special note on the spice level: We specifically chose the HOT level, one step below the spiciest, but the food wasn’t spicy at all. It wasn’t even noticeable. Domino’s chili flakes do a better job than whatever was being used here.
Drinks
The only saving grace in terms of value and taste. We ordered:
Virgin Mojito (7/10)
Refreshment Mojito (7/10)
Both drinks were fairly decent.
Service
Oh boy, where do I even begin?
Initially, we were greeted warmly, which set my expectations high. But things went downhill fast. The staff practically ignored us. We literally had to beg for attention. It was clear they only cared about tables with 5-6 people, while smaller groups like ours were left in the dust.
At one point, we asked a staff member about our missing Butterfly Chicken. His response? "Just a moment"—then he proceeded to walk out the front door, never to return! We had to ask at least three other staff members for the bill. Thankfully, the fourth person finally obliged.
Ambience (5/10)
The vibe was very mixed—like a high-end family restaurant/café. It didn’t stand out but wasn’t too bad either.
Summary
Food: 5/10 (Overpriced and overrated)
Service: 4/10 (Horrible service)
Ambience: 5/10 (Family restaurant/café vibes)
Conclusion
The food was overpriced and overrated, and some orders never even made it to the table. If you’re planning to come here, avoid appetizers, wraps, burgers, and salads—they're simply not worth it. Stick to the grilled chicken pieces (1/4 or 1/2 portions) as they seem to be the best value for the inflated prices they charge.
If you’re a fan of spicy food, go straight for the EXTRA HOT level—their so-called PERI-O-METER is a complete fraud. And they charge ₹150/- for sides, which consists of 10-12 French fries or a small salad—another rip-off.
The service was outright horrible, and the staff seemed biased towards larger groups. If you’re coming here, plan on bringing 6-7 people, because "the more, the merrier" is literally their unspoken rule.
Since Nando’s is known for its sauces, I was hoping for a variety in terms of spicy sauces, but every single sauce on our table was labeled "mild." None of them had any kick whatsoever.
Would I recommend this place? Absolutely not. Will I return? Definitely not.
Also, don’t park outside—the traffic police are lurking, ready to fine your car the moment you step out for...

I recently visited Nando’s at RMZ with high expectations, especially because I’ve had some great experiences at their outlets in the UAE. Unfortunately, my visit turned out to be quite disappointing in several ways, from food quality to service standards.
-Food Experience
I ordered the Pulled Chicken Burger and Peri Peri Chicken, hoping to relive the bold flavors and juicy texture that Nando’s is known for. However, both dishes were just average in taste. The flavors felt underwhelming, lacking the signature zest and spice that usually defines Nando’s dishes. The meat wasn't particularly tender, and the seasoning didn’t quite hit the mark. Given the brand's reputation, I expected a lot more in terms of quality and flavor.
-Service Delays What made the experience worse was the extremely slow and disorganized service. It took 10 to 15 minutes just for someone to approach and take my order – and that too, in a half-empty restaurant. After that, I had to wait another 10 to 15 minutes for my food to be served, which felt unnecessarily long given the simplicity of my order. There seemed to be a lack of coordination and attentiveness from the staff, which directly impacted the overall experience.
-Billing Issue – Unprofessional To add to the disappointment, there was a very frustrating moment when I was presented with the bill. They had charged me for a water bottle that I neither ordered nor opened. When I questioned it, the waiter insisted that I had ordered and opened the bottle, which was absolutely not the case. I calmly told him it’s not about the money, and even offered to pay ten times the cost if they could prove that I actually used it.
Only then did the waiter reluctantly remove the item from the bill – but the way it was handled felt unprofessional and accusatory, as if they were trying to guilt or pressure me into paying for something I never used.
-Service Charge Without Service What really left a sour taste in my mouth was that, despite all this – the average food, long delays, and billing confusion – they still charged a 10% service fee. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind paying a service fee if the service was even remotely decent, but in this case, it felt completely undeserved.
This visit has completely changed my perception of Nando’s in India. Based on this experience, I will definitely not be visiting this outlet again, and I’d recommend others to be cautious and check their...
Read moreIf you’re a fan of bold flavors and vibrant culinary experiences, Nando’s Kitchen is a must-visit. Known for its signature flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken, this restaurant delivers on both taste and atmosphere.
Ambiance The atmosphere is casual yet inviting, with a cozy setup and vibrant décor inspired by Afro-Portuguese culture. The upbeat music adds to the lively vibe, making it a great spot for family dinners, date nights, or casual hangouts with friends.
Food The food is, without a doubt, the star of the show. Here’s what I tried: • PERi-PERi Chicken: Cooked to perfection with a smoky char, tender inside, and bursting with the iconic spicy, tangy PERi-PERi flavor.
The Espetada Carnival arrives as a visual delight, with tender chunks of marinated chicken skewered and suspended vertically. It’s served with a generous helping of sides like PERi-salted fries, garlic bread, or spicy rice, making the plate as appetizing as it is impressive
• Sides: The PERi-salted fries and coleslaw complemented the chicken beautifully. The fries had just the right amount of crispiness, and the coleslaw was creamy and refreshing. • Veggie Options: The halloumi sticks and veggie wraps were just as impressive, showcasing that Nando’s cares about non-meat eaters too. • Sauces: The sauce bar offers a variety of spice levels, from mild to extra hot, allowing you to customize your meal to suit your taste.
Service The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring a seamless dining experience. The food arrived quickly, and the team was more than happy to accommodate special requests.
Value for Money While the prices lean towards the premium side, the quality and portion sizes justify the cost. For those looking to make the most of their visit, the combo platters offer great variety and value.
Overall Nando’s Kitchen delivers a memorable dining experience with its unique flavors, welcoming ambiance, and excellent service. Whether you’re a spice enthusiast or prefer milder flavors, there’s something for...
