Located at the center of Hyderabad Tech Hub Knowledge City, Beer Cartel is a must place to visit for a premium restobar + pub experience. Start from the ambience, service, food, booze and down to the music you will feel why it is premium. This premium experience comes with a premium costs especially for booze, food prices are reasonable compared to similar or less premium locations.
I will start with the one I noticed initially, the music acoustics, the music system / speakers here will entice you to move your legs and make your head & upper body start vibing to the DJ subconsciously. It’s a chefs kiss 🤌 , pun intended! So if you want to dance on a weekend jump right in at Beer Cartel, you will love it, as they also have weekend special DJs to get you grooving!
The service was super friendly. I had visited this place for lunch, meaning it was super less crowded and so I didn’t have any issues with waiting times or getting attention of the personnel when I needed.
Ambience was cozy and since it is the Halloween month of October, the place was dressed up with Halloween themed decor and I was told that on weekends one could get their face painted for free to become the Don Julio! and dance to celebrate the day of the dead.
Moving the focus towards the most important center piece of making this place one of your goto party/hangout stops, the food and the drinks:
Food: Is excellent and one of the best dining in the city, in food quality, options, and taste. I had ordered Peanut Masala, Tawa Fish, Gun Powder Chicken and Chicken Tikka Biryani. All of them tasted great! the Gun Powder Chicken is basically a Schnitzel and so you may find it a bit dry given the nature of the dish. The Biryani, at first may deceive you, as it is not a dum biryani which the Hyderabadi’s snonymize with, it’s a fried rice with chicken curry on top, but there is a big but to it, it’s super delicious!
And the Crown Jewel are the cocktails served at this place, I had ordered Whiskey Witchcraft and Black Magic, as the classic cocktail menu was updated for the Halloween Month. I loved the Whiskey Witchcraft and reordered this drink, it was sweet with a magical touch of a burnt cinnamon stick to give it the extra ummph! Black Magic was super sweet and people may tend to not prefer it. Also this place serves beer on tap and is known as one of the best places to serve beer!
And there you have it! If you have a little extra money to spend and want to enjoy a beautiful evening with your better half this is a must place dine and shake your leg...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Beer Cartel with my family for a Father’s Day lunch. This newly opened venue, situated inside Satwa Knowledge Park, has offered a relaxed dining experience.
The first thing that strikes you about Beer Cartel is its spacious and plush interiors. The comfortable seating arrangements make it an ideal spot for a lazy afternoon with family or friends. The atmosphere is welcoming, perfect for both casual gatherings and more intimate meals.
During our visit, we decided to try the Cali beer, which did not disappoint. It was a refreshing complement to our meal. For starters, we ordered the crispy Hakka prawns and the shahi paneer and both were well prepared. While some of the other dishes we tried were just okay, the overall dining experience was positive.
Pricing at Beer Cartel is reasonable, and we did not encounter any surprises with the bill. Given the quality of the food and the ambience the prices are fair.
Overall, Beer Cartel offers a promising start and is definitely a place I would love to visit again, perhaps for dinner next time. Whether you’re a beer enthusiast or just looking for a comfortable place to enjoy a meal, Beer Cartel is...
Read moreFive of us dropped by Beer Cartel for a mid-week unwind—because why wait till Friday to be underwhelmed?
We started with their craft beer selection, hoping to be impressed. Sadly, it felt more crafted in theory than in taste. The much-hyped Geist beer? Let's just say it was so light, we wondered if someone had accidentally topped it off with mineral water. The Witty Wiser and the Blond were marginally better—by which I mean, they tasted less confused.
Cocktails, however, came to the rescue. Whoever’s on bar duty deserves a raise (or at least the chef’s share), because the drinks were genuinely enjoyable.
Food-wise, the evening started with a fumble. Starters lacked punch and left us collectively unimpressed. To their credit, we voiced it—and the kitchen seemed to recalibrate mid-way. The puff-base pizza was a pleasant surprise, and the coriander chicken had enough flavour to warrant a second order.
Overall, Beer Cartel is a decent place if you’re more into conversations and cocktails than culinary revelations. Go with low expectations, stay for the company, and you might just leave with a few good laughs—and a...
