There’s something comforting about biting into a pizza that balances simplicity with authenticity, and that’s exactly what I found here. The Italian pizzas are prepared in a traditional style, with a crust that’s thin at the base, airy at the edges, and kissed by just the right amount of char from the oven. It has that classic chewiness without being doughy, which is what makes Italian pizza stand apart.
The Margherita was the highlight for me. The sauce had a rustic freshness—ripe tomatoes simmered down with herbs, slightly tangy but not overly spiced. Paired with creamy mozzarella and a sprinkle of fresh basil, every bite felt clean and balanced. It’s the kind of pizza that doesn’t try too hard yet leaves an impression because of the quality of its ingredients.
On the other hand, the chicken pizza offered a bit more heartiness. The chicken pieces were juicy, well-seasoned, and evenly distributed across the pie. What I appreciated most was that the toppings never overshadowed the crust—they complemented it. Each slice carried a harmony of textures: crisp edges, tender chicken, stretchy cheese, and the occasional burst of herbs.
What made the whole experience enjoyable was the freshness. The cheese didn’t feel greasy, the toppings tasted vibrant, and even the crust had that slight smokiness that only comes from being cooked in a proper oven. It’s not the kind of pizza that overloads you with toppings or gimmicks—it’s straightforward, Italian, and satisfying.
If you’re looking for a decent Italian pizza that respects tradition while delivering comfort, this is a place worth visiting. It may not blow your mind with experimental flavors, but it nails the essentials—and that’s sometimes exactly what you want from...
Read moreA very cozy place, with lights and greenery. There is outdoor seating as well as indoor, since it felt a little hot, as the pizza oven is right across the serving counter.
The restaurant is well done, much better than the other location. Not too many tables, about 6 tables - 3 outdoors and 3 indoors, but if there was a bigger party, it would get a little crowded.
What we ordered:
-Plain garlic bread - we had it last time, and we had an idea of how it was, we asked for extra garlic and oil, to give it a stronger flavor. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up ordering a 2nd order. The bread is served hot, fresh, and right out of the oven.
Italian Soda - we ordered some version of lemon soda, and it was quite good but felt was overpriced for the basic drink it was.
Tutte Verdue Pizza - got it with Neapolitan crust, and we loved it. The vegetables were perfectly fresh and cooked in the oven. We asked for substitute toppings and they complied. I highly recommend this particular pizza!
Pepperoni (Pork) - wasn't done well. Undersalted. Not sure how they get this pepperoni but it had no flavor. The pizza was ok, but I won't order it again since the crust is the only thing we were satisfied with.
Brownie - it was ok, I probably wouldn't get it again.
They never have any buffalo wings or tiramisu at either of the locations and had me a little disappointed. The Italian soda was just syrup on the bottom, topped with soda, and garnished with basil, and I felt was overpriced. Wished you guys served some sodas and not just milkshakes and cold coffees.
We enjoy the garlic bread and veg pizzas, and I think well stick to that from now on. The bread made in the wood-fired oven is excellent, and highly...
Read morePompeii Pizza Studio (Jubilee Hills, Road No. 51) serves undeniably delicious food, far superior to its Madhapur branch. The Funghi Truffle Pizza and Veg Lasagne I ordered were fantastic, and for a moment, I thought I’d found a gem.
However, the experience was utterly ruined by a severe and unacceptable hygiene issue. During my visit, I witnessed six rats in the premises. The staff’s response? A casual shrug, blaming the problem on their open seating area. Even worse, the tiny kitchen had utensils stored on lower shelves, completely accessible to the rodents.
It was horrifying to see rats not only scurrying around but also sitting on seats in the outdoor area. While the staff mentioned using rat pads, it’s painfully clear that such measures are grossly inadequate—especially since the kitchen has doors opening from two sides, offering free access to pests.
This is beyond disappointing for a place that prides itself on offering premium food. Great food paired with such poor hygiene standards left me feeling disgusted and regretful after dining.
Pompeii Pizza Studio urgently needs to address this critical issue. Until then, I cannot recommend this place. Food might be good, but cleanliness and basic hygiene are non-negotiable.
What a shame! I sincerely hope management takes...
