This post is not about the food.. But about a wonderful small joint at Sindhi colony by the Name #popular_punjabi_paratha
I was amused to see the way the were handling their special customers.. The people who cannot afford to pay for food.. when I was entering the joint I saw an old man relinquishing their paratha beside the store, I thought it was some leftover which they might have shared.
Then while I was having my Paratha, another elderly person walked in and just stood there, their waiter just came out with a fresh paratha and offered to him.
I was just amazed, after having food I went to the person on counter his name was Mr. #BAADAL he said sir Hum dene wale kaun hai, Uphar wala deta hai..
He added, when I asked, at our store we don't say no to anyone. Even if theres nobody at the store our waiter will serve directly to anybody who walks-in.
My heart was overwhelmed by their way of treating their special customers.
I'm sure there are many places in Hyderabad who help without us knowing.
This is Just an #Appreciation post to all such wonderful people who makes us believe #Humanity still exists.
I strongly recommend to visit their place and taste their Balle...
Read more😐 Taste is just okay, but oh boy, the prices are off the charts! 💸💸 I can totally hook you up with 10 other places in Hyderabad that serve the same dishes at way cheaper prices. 😏💰 Why pay a fortune for a simple meal when you can have it for a steal elsewhere? Imagine this: you walk into a place with only six tables and no fancy AC. 🌬️ Not even a waiting area for folks! 😅 And to top it all off, the restaurant guys are taking orders on the roadside like it's a street food festival! 🍽️🚦 Honestly, I'd expect those premium prices if I were dining in a grand palace with fantastic ambience. 👑🏰 But here, it's like they're charging you for the experience of eating on the sidewalk! 🚶♂️🍛 I ordered a basic home-style Aloo Gobhi, and guess what? It costs an arm and a leg! 💔🥦 Meanwhile, just a hop, skip, and jump away, there's a Punjabi Paratha house in Alwal that serves the same dish with exactly the same quantity for half the price! 🥟🤑 I'm not trying to burst anyone's bubble, but come on, folks! Let's be real and dine smarter. 🤓🍽️ Save those hard-earned bucks for the places that truly deserve it, not for a curb-side culinary...
Read morePopular Punjabi Paratha House has only four tables, which means it can accommodate a maximum of 16 people. I have been seeing this place for over two years and ever since, it has literally been on my wish list. Never once have I seen less than a dozen people waiting outside. Finally, yesterday, I got to eat there.
The food is simply superb. For the experienced North Indians, you know what to eat. For the inexperienced, as them. They will guide you. And give you their best.
We ordered five different parathas - Aloo Methi, Methi (no Onion, no garlic), Balle Balle, Cheese and Gobhi. Apart from this, buttermilk and mango shake.
We thought we should order more initially itself considering the crowd already waiting. The owner, however, suggested otherwise. So we refrained. The quantity is more than enough for one. One thing I really liked was that they had divided the four parathas for four of us, so that each could have a bite of the other.
Price is nominal. In fact, it is on the cheaper side!
It definitely is a must visit.
Badal & Co. A hats off...
