I recently visited Shah Ghouse Hotel & Restaurant, which is touted as one of the top restaurants and a must-visit place in Hyderabad. However, my experience was far from pleasant and left me in complete shock.

Food Taste: ★★★★☆ The food is undeniably good. The flavors are rich, and the dishes are well-prepared. This is the only saving grace of this establishment.

Customer Service: ★☆☆☆☆ The customer service is abysmal. The staff is incredibly rude and disrespectful. They seem to have no interest in providing a good dining experience. When we asked for basic assistance, we were met with indifference and hostility.

Ambiance and Cleanliness: ★☆☆☆☆ The interior of the restaurant was fully smoky, making it difficult to sit comfortably. Our eyes were burning due to the smoke, which significantly hampered our dining experience.

Bathroom Facilities: ☆☆☆☆☆ The state of the bathrooms was appalling. They were filthy, with cockroaches running around even in the hand wash area. If negative ratings were possible, the bathrooms would deserve a minus rating.

If you're a biryani lover, then this is a must try place.

Ambience:

This restaurant is located opposite to Bio Diversity Park in Gachibowli, which is very accessible. Round the clock this restaurant is flooded with people both for dining & and taking away parcels. And it takes a hard time to find parking. It is a 2 floor spacious restaurant but not that clean & hygiene.

Food:

About the food, we have ordered Special Chicken biryani, Mutton biryani, Veg fried rice, Chilli Baby corn & Chilli Paneer. The biryani here tastes damn good, and especially the chicken here is very good because it absorbs the juices and sucks in some of the flavor.

This place has very limited options for vegetarians, especially for the main course. It just has the mainstream Veg biryani. Items like paneer biryani or mushroom biryani are not available here.

Apart from the food, we get a variety of faluda available here. And the special dry fruit faluda from this place is very famous. And I have never come back from this restaurant with having its special faluda. Not just this dry fruit faluda, we also have varied options of faluda with different flavored ice creams.

Cost & Affordability:

The prices here are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food it serves. If you go in a group, it just costs around 300-400 per head to be tummy full.
