Santosh family dhaba has some good reputation of providing quality vegetarian food at fair prices, but they seem to have skipped the very critical aspect of tasty food. Food must be tasty too! We were disappointed with aalo paratha, the naan, the pulav - all the items on the plate including raita and the gravy were average and tasteless. We ate but we did not enjoy eating, none of us did. The restaurant is spacious but mostly empty, from the outside it looks like and old pawn shop but it packs some serious real estate after you walk through the narrow pathway leading to the front door. The bathrooms, well let's not talk about them. They were not well maintained and I should have not entered after cleaning my hands in the finger bowl. Excessive oil... Tooooooo much of oil rice is literally floating in the oil.

an hour ago New I've ordered paneer biryani from one of the Gachibowli oulet, before it is my favourite restaurant.. but recently the management has been changed and the food is full of masala unable to eat, and the quantity is not even sufficient for kid. Now the santhosh dabha has been renamed and maintained by new management which is shree sangam dabha.. please don't order from santhosh dabha.. After eating paneer biryani I directly found masala spices in the biryani and it is so hard and bitter taste I was hospitalized after eating this and writing this from hospital...

Food is great, but service is terrible for the cost. Now if there price was in the 200 range for a meal, service is not mandatory. But once you cross that, it becomes a given. You keep waiting and food is on the table, your plate is almost empty and you are not served. They don't have many waiters, but that is not an excuse. They are active towards the bigger tables with more customers, but don't look at tables with 1 or 2 customers. Tableware is not clean, tissue box are empty. There was a group of customers 8-9, and the waiters made them sit in two separate 4 person tables. While there were better places available. This place needs an...
