Subway Panjagutta — Restaurant in Hyderabad

My brother and I are visiting from US after 2 years and wanted to try some Indian flavors in a Subway. We got two footlong subs, a paneer and a veg kebab. We first dug into the paneer sub. We realized that the veggies and bread were fine, but something was off about the paneer. Nevertheless, we finished it off. Then we came to the veg kebab sub. Within our first bites, we realized something inside was spoiled and rotten. Upon opening and checking the ingredients, the kebabs were found to be the culprit.

We took the unfinished portions up to the employee. The employee said that there “may be” a temperature problem with the veggie kebab container. Foolishly, we opted to get an aloo patty footlong in exchange for the spoiled veggie kebab. We noticed that the employee did not cook the aloo patty well. After taking it out of the oven, it was still soggy and nowhere near brown and crispy. We asked the employee to cook it some more, but she said it will “make it too hard”. She finished making the sub and my brother and I sat down to eat it. The aloo patty was obviously undercooked and had a mild spoiled smell/taste.

Less than a day later, my brother and I are having a bout of gastroenteritis, with the most obvious culprit being our lunch at Subway. Had we seen the previous reviews of this Subway location, we would never have eaten here. This location is truly a public health safety hazard and the city and state public health safety inspector should revisit this location and seriously reassess its safety. Under no circumstance should a restaurant be serving food clearly unfit for human consumption. Would give 0 stars if we could. If I could rate 0/5, I would. Would never recommend this branch of subway to anyone because the meat served had a horrendous taste and when confronted about the same with the manager, he tasted it and he didn't feel like it tasted bad just so that he wouldn't need to refund me. They only had only 1 bread option, the veggies looked stale and also they didn't offer a bill as "the machine isn't working" . Pathetic experience, I'm begging you all to avoid dining...

Only one women is available in the whole store. Toaster is not working, very limited bread options, card swap is unavailable, cookies unavailable, cool drink mission out of service, combos not available and the list goes on. the store is dark and empty and the staff is highly demotivated.
