The Funnel Hill Creamery — Restaurant in Hyderabad

As a student at St. Francis, I’ve been to Funnel Hill Creamery quite a few times, and it’s always been a nice experience. Recently, I went again for my friend’s birthday and we had such a peaceful little celebration there. The ambience is cozy, the service was good, and the staff were really polite and attentive.

They’ve even introduced a matcha menu now, which looked interesting, though we didn’t try it this time. We ordered spaghetti aglio e olio, peri peri fries, and ended with their triple chocolate waffle. The spaghetti honestly deserves a special mention…🤌🏼perfectly cooked, balanced flavors, not too oily, just the right amount. The fries were slightly undercooked, but still tasty.

But the star of our outing was definitely the triple chocolate waffle ….rich, gooey, and absolutely worth the hype. I’d even call it their signature dish. If you’re visiting, please don’t miss out on it! The spaghetti is also a must-try. Overall, a really good café to hang out, celebrate, or just enjoy good food...

Happen to hop in for a quick continental lunch ambience is cozy and comfortable.

All spice chicken skewer had right amount of flavour and tender chicken totally delicious to savour.

Spicy grilled prawns were simply amazing and mouth watering this was one of the best I ever had. All though the above items had strong Indian spices blended to match our taste buds.

Had hot Lavender White Tea for a change that boosted our energy and tempted us to try out dessert.

Blueberry cheese cake was good choice to end the meal that was topped up with blueberry jam and loaded with cheese. It was heavenly and yum .

Host Deepak and Jogeshwar made sure we were treated with great hospitality and ensured the food arrived on time and also took feedback. They really deserve high appreciation of praise for taking care of us with great attention.

Disappointing Experience – Not Pet-Friendly & Poor Service

I had a very disappointing experience here. Despite making a simple request for some plain boiled chicken for my pet — something easily available in most kitchens — the staff outright refused, without even checking with the chef or manager. This is a basic courtesy I’ve received at many other restaurants like Roast, Roastery, and Kohe, which are far more accommodating and pet-friendly.

To make matters worse, the staff seemed completely disorganized. They couldn’t remember the order or special requests and had to be reminded multiple times. As a vegetarian, I was also extremely let down by the limited and uninspired veg options on the menu.

Overall, the lack of flexibility, poor communication, and minimal vegetarian choices made this a regrettable visit. Definitely not...
